An apartment building right next to Lake Lugano. An ideal base for exploring the Swiss part of the lake area without overpaying for accommodation in Switzerland. It is also close to the northern part of Lake Como. There is a private beach, but the public beach 150 m away is definitely better, wider, more comfortable, and cleaner - I recommend it. There are two restaurants downstairs (one better and one worse) and an ice cream parlor/pastry shop (the evening noise didn\'t bother us, but we were staying on the 2nd floor (there were no loud parties - just ordinary evenings in the restaurant with music ;) ). I recommend rooms with a view of the lake - it\'s worth paying extra. The rooms are fully equipped, we didn\'t lack anything. The beds are comfortable. The air conditioning worked (contrary to some reviews), but we hardly used it - the blinds covered during the day did the job. There are plenty of free parking spaces around the facility. It\'s a 5-10 minute walk to the old town (not particularly impressive, but okay). The town itself is ordinary, where normal Italians live, touristy but not overly so. There is a large Carrefour in the center and two larger hypermarkets in the suburbs. It is an ideal place for a family vacation, as long as you are not looking for attractions in the facility itself (there is nothing here, but we did not need it). (Translated by deepl)
