This villa was such a lovely place to stay…very clean, spacious, and those lake views were just incredible. We arrived quite late on a Sunday and were so grateful for the welcome pack with wine and pasta. Everything was closed, so it honestly saved us such a thoughtful touch! The villa had loads of space, perfect for our big family. There were plenty of places to eat inside, but our favourite spot by far was out on the terrace, looking out over the lake. Just stunning. It had everything we needed and more. I’d 100% recommend this villa to anyone heading to Lake Como. Thank you again for a really special stay

Villa Tremezzo was perfect for our large group! The view is spectacular, the rooms are spacious, and the outside space is lovely. We had an issue with Wi-Fi and George was very responsive and took it upon himself to come to the villa to resolve for us. I would highly recommend this spot but note that it is best suited if you have your own transportation.

August 2016 We are very pleased with the accommodation in Tremezzo. The house was impeccable and the location was great. Do not forget sweat morning in achieving the rolls from the bakery in Mezzegra. We very much enjoyed the Como lake, the setting is lovely in terms of nature and you can make nice trips on and around the lake. We have had little to do with your office. The booking and getting the keys are the main issues which went fine. Danilo has accompanied us fine to the house and explained how everything works including waste disposal. All fine. Around the lake there is much to do: is really nice boat to Bellagio, Varenna. A day trip to Como is also great. Menaggio is nice to have a drink while you sit too nice in Lenno and can swim in the lake. This is really a must. I myself can still fun bikes, a round of Porlezza (Argegno up to Lake Lugano, Porlezza and then along the top back to Menaggio) or by boat and then to Madonna di Ghisallo. If you choose the roads well it is fine cycling. All in all a wonderful holiday and we would recommend it to friends. Monique, The Netherlands

Vietimme ikimuistoisen loman Lake Comolla. Asunnon sijainti oli erinomainen, vain kävelymatkan päässä rantabulevardilta sekä vuoristopoluilta. Näkymät järvelle sekä ympäröivään vuoristomaisemaan olivat henkeäsalpaavia. Onneksi varausohjeessa oli kuvat asuntoon saapumisesta, sillä sijainti GoogleMapsissä osoitti läheistä taloa. Asunto oli erittäin siisti ja toimiva kahden perheen (8 henkilön) majoittumiseen. Uima-allas oli riittävän suuri vanhempienkin lasten leikkeihin, mutta altaan vedessä oli liikaa klooria. Aurinkotuoleissa altaan reunalla oli mukava rentoutua. Talon ohjeet eivät olleet aivan ajan tasalla koskien roskien lajittelupistettä. Internet-yhteys toimi vain ajoittain emmekä saaneet televisiota toimimaan (AppleTV). Autotallin ovi ei sulkeutunut eikä sitä korjattu vierailumme aikana pyynnöstämme huolimatta. Viihtyisimme mielellämme kohteessa uudestaankin!

Beautiful location, clean apartment with plenty bed- and bathrooms, 2(!) terraces with a beautiful view over the lake. You can swim in the pool, or take a 15 min walk to the park by the lake. Only downside that space at the highest floor bath room is a bit limited. Great value and I would visit there again!

Die Lage wär gut, der Pool war sehr schön genauso wie die Terrasse. Die große Garage war perfekt. Es war sauber und die Betten waren gut. Klimaanlage unterm Dach war vorhanden und funktionierte auch einwandfrei.

De villa is zeer ruim, het zwembad is zalig! Ook de grote garage voor 2 wagens is een groot pluspunt. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf!

We had a lovely stay here and absolutely recommend it! 😊 here are some details: Pros: ✅ - lovely view over the mountains and the lake - great location, close to many sights (you’ll definitely need a car though) - beautiful swimming pool - very well equipped - in general very pleasant - there are three floors that are independent from each other, which allows for privacy - baby-friendly (baby beds, baby chair...) - and more... 😊 Cons: - the temperature displays make an annoying whizzing noise All in all definitely more pros 😉 we had a lovely stay and recommend it to anyone!

Great value for money, great location next to Como lake and restaurants. The villa is well equipped and cleaned. Beds are not super comfortable but other then that we had a great stay and I would highly recommend!

First of all, I would like to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Tremezzo, Lake Como. Happyholidayhomes were perfect with assisting us with our stay. It never really felt like a business transaction but more of a personal touch so that we got the most out of our stay in Lake Como. We must reserve special praise for Danilo who was exceptional in recommending to us places to eat, places to go and what to do. It really took the burden from us and it was really nice and beneficial to have a local's insight to Lake Como. We really felt that Happyholidayhomes went over and beyond what we expected. Villa Tremezzo was perfect for our stay. George was great in escorting us to the Villa and showing us the essentials of the Villa. The Villa really met our specification. It was nice that the pool cover had been taken off as this allowed us to have a dip in the pool on our last day. We really would recommend the Villa to any family or group of a similar size. Danilo's restaurant selections were spot on. I think Danilo gauged from us the type of restaurant we were after and we really felt that we were able to sample local cuisine and delicacies. The consensus was that the Golf club was the best but La Darcena and the Platini restaurant on the lake were still good. One of our requirements beforehand was getting in a personal chef to cook for us (something recommended and sorted out by Danilo). This was on our last night and the food he cooked was excellent and we had a really good end to our stay in Lake Como. Danilo was correct in saying to get the most out of the lake you really have to go on it and hiring a boat was definitely one of the highlights. We all enjoyed having a go driving the boat. We really felt the recommendations from Happyholidayhomes allowed us to get the most out of our short stay. In terms of improvements I really can't think of any. I would give the service a 10/10. Please feel free to add this as a review to your website. I did not take any photos as I leave that up to the girls. But I can ask them to see if they can send some holiday photos. I should inform you that the bulb on the stairs blew yesterday and so needs replaced and the garage door sticks sometimes. The villa was very clean and well resourced with beautiful views. Because of the long drive to Malpensa and the 6am check-in on Saturday morning we have decided to travel on Friday afternoon and stay overnight in an airport hotel. Therefore we will drop off the keys at your office in Menaggio on Friday afternoon. I paid Gulia €75 in an envelope today as requested. She has done a super job cleaning for us. We also had a fantastic time today on the trip to St. Moritz. Our guide Carol was superb and Massimo the driver was very careful on some fairly bendy, narrow roads. We have been very impressed with your company in all our dealings from the booking process through to the end of our holiday and would like to express our grateful thanks. Grazie Regards

The Wards had a very enjoyable visit to Villa Tremezzo. All of the equipment and accommodations were as advertised. The terrace and its view were well used and the grill was very handy for quick meals. The pool was well kept and needed with the unexpected warm afternoon weather. The rental agents were friendly and very responsive to a wasp problem. Varenna was our favorite destination with the best and freshest gelato I have ever tasted (Gelateria Riva). The staff at Ristorante del Sole were so friendly and accommodating with our young children at lunch. Villa Carlotta, particularly its gardens, was calming and refreshing after the excitement of the waterfront.

We very much enjoyed our stay, notwithstanding a choice rather early in the season and the consequent unpredictable weather. The landscape around the lake is superb and sometimes even more beautiful and dramatic in changeable climatic conditions. We loved the small towns, particularly Bellagio. The staff in the office in Menaggio were excellent: most helpful and friendly. The house was comfortable, spacious, well equipped, and cared for. It was ideal for a large family. Walking to the lake with small children was possible but farther than we had expected from looking at the map beforehand, because of the slope of the hill and the turns of the footpath. However, the week was a great success and most pleasurable.

We've all had a really great time here in Villa Tremezzo, it easily beats a hotel stay! The accommodation was very spacious, modern and flexible for our large family so everyone fitted in perfectly, including mum and dad! The garden was very sunny and safe for the kids and I must add the pool was a resounding success! Tremezzo was a very nice place too, with a pretty lakefront park for lake swimming, lots of restaurants, authentic bars and it offered us easy access to Villa Carlotta and Villa Balbianello. The other towns across the lake were also easily within reach by ferry so we really felt that even though our hillside place was very peaceful for a holiday stay, we were still in the heart of it! Lake Como is a really great destination in Italy - we are very happy with our choice of holiday destination this year! Thank you so much.

We spent a really terrific month on Lake Como, in a great vacation rental called Villa Tremezzo. It was a really modern and inviting family home, with plenty of space and modern touches. The sunny garden was just bliss to unwind in and the outdoor swimming pool went down a storm! The sleeping arrangements suited our substantial family size and we really enjoyed all coming together to relax in the villa and also to explore beautiful Lake Como. Gosh there was a lot to see and do, from all the very pretty villas and gardens to the picturesque villages and mountain trails, the water sport activities and also the GREAT golf clubs in Cernobbio and up on the Menaggio hillside. We also had some great days out in Como, Lugano and Milan. The restaurants were a real treat for us as we are all the biggest Italian food fans you're ever gonna meet!! Thanks SO much for all your amazing hospitality throughout our stay- you guys were the best!

Thank you for a wonderful Lake Como getaway! Our luxury villa was so comfortable and inviting. The loft-style apartment was perfect for Robert and I because we had our own kitchenette and bathroom and could easily enjoy some privacy from our son's young family who stayed with us. We thought it was so great for our family, we could all relax in the open plan living area together and also dine outside on the terrace. The garden and swimming pool were great for our grandchildren and the weather was just superb for us. We enjoyed a wonderful 2 weeks of sighsteeing, dining out, lake activities and of just simply taking in the natural beauty of the place form our villa. From all of us, thank you for a super holiday stay!

My family and I had such a fantastic break in Villa Tremezzo on Lake Como. It was super spacious and contemporary inside and it offered the perfect base for us from which to explore the lake. Beautiful location, amazing views, nice pool. 7 minutes up the mountain from main road & a quiet location. Garage is great and holds 2 small cars. We did have some problems: Air conditioning didn't work in 1 of the upstairs bedrooms, the host said a technician would come by, but nobody did. Bedroom temperature stayed around 29c. Upstairs balcony is nice but has air conditioning exhaust, so it is hot and noisy. Keys didn't work & only 1 garage door opener worked, this was our only way in. Wifi stopped for 24+ hours & when we asked if there was a router to reset or if the company had an outage the host's reply was simply: "Should be one but I don't remember if is in the leaving room or another place." Host was not helpful for any issues. Only 1 trash bag for 5 nights. Host said they would bring more but did not. We bought some, but missed some trash collection as there is 1 different item pickup each day. Overall, nice views, but I don't recommend in summer & for the high price.
