The perfect home to stay for my family, including our 3 children and our older parents. Spacious rooms with enough storage and linen, 3 full bathrooms, stocked kitchen, living room opening up to the gorgeous balcony overlooking the lake and mountains, and the game room to keep the kids busy. Apartment was on a quiet/ private street and very close to the ferry and market using the shortcut/ stairs behind the homes on the hill. To check in we picked up the keys from the office in Menaggio. Instructions to turn on the water heater on the front door. Absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The view felt like a dream!

We loved our stay here! It’s a lovely home for a large group and well stocked with almost anything you might need. The view is gorgeous! We did not have a car, and found the steps and path down the hill from just outside the gate. A useful shortcut for going into town.

We only had a short stay at Bellavista, but it was everything we were looking for. Property was very clean, rooms comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and it was a convenient walk into town (8-10 min) down a walking path. The highlight of course for the property is the patio and the views of the lake. Absolutely spectacular. Would definitely stay again.

What a beautiful stay in Bellavista Grande. The view is just spectacular and there is really no place like it. We only wish we could have stayed longer to explore more! We even managed it with 3 kids under 3 years! Hopefully we’ll make it back someday.

Loved the communication and timely responses with our hosts. The location was walkable and loved the trail down into town. Everything was roomy enough for 4 adults, and the balcony view was great. The quaint accommodations were suitable for our brief stay.

Mennagio is a lovely town. Our apartment was very comfortable for 2 couples, but the downstairs section was better suited for children. Walk to town was 12 minutes down many steps, and the walk back up is a little toughertoughet. Overall, a very good experience. course..

View of the lake was breath taking.15-20 minute walk to town - steep uphill on pebbled roads. Difficult for the elderly. Apartment was comfortable however there were no batteries in the tv remotes, hair dryers can’t be used as they sparked when turned on, mold on the ceiling in the bathroom with no venting. Despite these few issues, we had a wonderful time and would definitely return to Menaggio

It was a nice size apartment with a wonderful balcony view. It was a 10 min walk to the centre of town. The walk back requires the ability to climb hills and stairs. We found some of the keys difficult to use to open gates. When we got there we found that we needed bathing caps for the pool. Where do you buy bathing caps? It would be nice if the unit provided some or had the rules changed. A few tea towels would have been nice as not all people use the dishwasher. We enjoyed our stay here. Relaxing on the balcony was always an enjoyable part of the day! I would recommend it to anyone visiting Menaggio.

Apartment was very clean and tidy and the view over the Lake is just incredible. Everything provided and the kitchen was an added bonus. Pool area very clean and totally relaxing. The walk down to the main road was fine as we are close to the corner shop, ferry port and main square. We thank you for helping us make such treasured memories. Diolch yn fawr!

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit tollem Ausblick. Reichlich Platz auch für zwei Familien mit genug Bädern. Sehr schöner Pool. War leider wegen Corona zum größten Teil geschlossen. In Menaggio ist man schnell zu Fuß. Abzug gibt es für den dreckigen Esstisch, an dessen Gestell Essenreste kleben und die Polster der Sitzlounge wirkten auch lange nicht gewaschen. Da wir dies aber mokiert haben, wird sich das sicherlich ändern. Klare Empfehlung

We were two families with children and spent 4 days at the Bellavista Grande. We absolutely loved the place! It had everything we needed and more. The views from the balcony are absolutely breathtaking! We loved the location, with the ferry station being just a short walk from the villa. We visited Villa Balbianello, as well as Villa Carlota. Both spectacular! We were very impressed with the service provided by Happy Holidays Team! They were always very helpful, professional and answered all our questions quickly. Could not ask for more! Highly recommend both the villa and the agency.

The property was very easy to find if you are walking from town or the ferry – a little more challenging in the car. The office team was superb! We packed a lot into 3 days and wish we could have stayed longer. We enjoyed the main piazza in Menaggio, and the bread and meat markets that were close by. Dinner outside at Il Ristorante di Paolo was fabulous, as were cocktails at the Hotel du Lac outside bar. The ferry was very easy to catch – just a short walk from the property and it ran on time. We loved Varenna and the hike to the Castello Di Vezio, as well as the climb up the castle tower. The shops in Bellaggio were much fun, and the walk through Lenno and to Villa Balbianella was gorgeous.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bellavista Grande, and we received excellent service from your company throughout. Danilo was very helpful, and we highly recommend the driver he sent to pick up my sister and then us, for our transfers. I unfortunately cannot recall his name I'm sorry. However, he was incredibly helpful and even walked my sister into the train terminal to ensure she found her platform etc. We were very appreciative of this. He also provided a lot of interesting information about the region during the drive. Travelling with a toddler is challenging and the stairs up to the street definitely tested us, but the view from the balcony was worth the effort. The property was clean and in good condition. Menaggio was a perfect choice for us to stay in as we found towns like Bellagio to be very touristy and busy. Our proximity to the ferry terminal was very convenient and we travelled around the towns via ferry. The area is simply breathtaking, even more beautiful than the pictures suggest. The company were very helpful in arranging the transfers and boat hire, plus allowing us to use the printing facilities at the office as well. Everyone we came across was very helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we hope to return to the region one day in the future.

I just wanted to send you a quick email to say thank you for all your help during our stay last week. We all had a fantastic time and are sad to be home. The apartment was perfect for us and is really well looked after, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We all enjoyed staying there and it was an ideal place for my 3 year old son as it is safe and secure. The apartment is in an ideal location as it only took 10-15 minutes to walk into the centre of Menaggio and the supermarket by the ferry is very handy! You and your team were brilliant with helping us and answering all our questions and queries and you responded so quickly to each email, we really felt like you looked after us. This is the second time myself and my husband have visited Menaggio and we absolutely love it there, so much so we are talking about coming back for a third time and we still feel we haven't explored the lake completely as there is still so much to see! Many thanks again and we shall definitely use your company in the future and will most definitely recommend you to anyone who wants to holiday in Italy!

We stayed for a week in June 2014 and we will be coming back! This place was perfect for our family (ranging in ages from 3 - 60) and is an absolutely delightful apartment. The walk into Menaggio only look 10-15 mins and the supermarket by the ferry was very handy. The apartment is modern, clean and has the most amazing view over the lake and Varenna and Bellagio. We absolutely loved staying here and my 3yr old son loved the pool! The team at lakecomohomes.com are efficient and very helpful and they always replied to my emails almost instantly. They really looked after us. We shall be recommending them to all our friends and we are already talking about coming back as there is still so much to see and do around the lake, plus the food everywhere we ate was amazing! Our holiday home in Menaggio was just what we were looking for. The property was spacious, contemporary and versatile enough for our family size of 8. The different dining areas were great for enjoying throughout the day and for different occasions. The sunny lake view terrace was perfect for lunches outside and also for evening drinks. There was a fantastic open plan living area and Molly loved being able to plug in her music to the docking station. Patrick and Edward were also able to use the internet on their notebooks during the holiday. We were very comfortable in the bedrooms and the laundry facilities were convenient as we'd thought we'd have to find a launderette nearby! There was a fabulous communal pool which I know we all loved! There was also a fantastic Lido in the town too which we enjoyed on a few occasions too. The property was within easy reach of the Golf club, tennis courts and water sport activities and I had no idea how close by Bellagio and Villa Carlotta were from Menaggio until I stayed here! Bellisimo Italia!A wonderful place to experience the beautiful town of Menaggio! The apartment is well appointed and we had plenty of space for all 8 of us to hang out!The balcony / terrace was our favourite spot as the views were straight from a movie set, Lake Como is the most beautiful place we have ever seen and look forward to returning. Our group of 7 (5 adults, a 13-year-old and a 3-year-old) enjoyed our 7-night stay at Bellavista Grande very much. There is a wide choice of restaurants in Menaggio. A ferry trip across the lake to Varenna is a lovely day out. Varenna is a delightful, character-filled town. We thoroughly enjoyed hiring speed boats for a couple of hours exploring the lake. We enjoyed our stay very much and all fell in love with Lake Como, and the mid-lake towns in particular.

Totally underestimated; if you are looking for a break then look no further, Italy is a fantastic country with great culture, attitude, food, wine and people but our stay at Bellavista Grande complimented our holiday in every way. It’s an easy commute from the airport and provides a real wow factor on arrival in Menaggio. The villa provides everything you can need and is equipped to a very standard with particular attention to cleanliness, detail and requires no maintenance at all which is unusual! The layout works for all ages as we took our two children with grandparents and we all thoroughly enjoyed it our stay. Our holiday was outstanding and delivered more than our expectations and has given some remarkable memories which we can draw on in the future and cherish dearly. Perfect Perfect in every way! We stayed in this beautiful villa quite recently and found it to be full of charm and character. The stunning views from the terrace over the lake to Bellagio and also over the town are too amazing to describe. The villa has everything you could possibly need for a ‘home from home’ holiday including Wi-Fi and even an X-box!. It has been really well put together and gave us everything that we could have possibly needed. Add in the communal pool for summer use and you have a perfect place to spend a holiday. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely apartment. We’ve really enjoyed our time here. Your apartment is very well equipped and we really appreciated the added extras and thoughtful home comforts provided-dvds, xbox games, recipe books etc. The views were breath-taking and we had wonderful weather except for the odd rain shower. Great location with easy access to Menaggio centre. We made good use of the delicious bakery, butchery and deli shops. We found the shops at the bottom of the hill opposite the petrol station to be competitively priced and well stocked, and could definitely recommend it. We really enjoyed looking around craft and art market that comes on Fridays, and had many fun nights at the local bars and restaurants. Hopefully we will be back again

Very well equipped apartment with wonderful views. Weather not too bad except on our last day when it rained most of the day. Enjoyed our many trips on the lake and visited Villa Carlotta, Villa Balbianello at Lenno & Villa Meltz in Bellagio. Also went to St. Moritz and Switzerland & Lake Lugano. Stopped off at Gandria which was quiet and peaceful.

Extreme Geruchsbelastung aus den Badezimmern.sehr benutzt, gebraucht und ungepflegt. Eigentümer scheinen nicht am erhalt interessiert. 8 Personen sind nicht realistisch da das Kellergeschoss Schimmelbildung aufweist. Auf den Fotos ist es das zimmer mit den 2 Einzellbetten und dem großen Zimmer mit Kamin.ist ein Ausgebauter Keller ohne Fenster deshalb Schimmelbildung und sehr starker Geruch. Lage ist dennoch Super ,Blick ist wirklich wunderschön. Solange mann niemand über sich hat sehr leise.fazit zu ungepflegt für das Geld aber Lage und Sicht ,fantastisch.

Im Allgemeinen hat uns der Aufenthalt dort gut gefallen. Die Lage sowie der Blick über den See sind super! Man ist schnell zu Fuß im Zentrum und der Seeblick ist der Wahnsinn. Auch der Gemeinschaftspool, welchen man sich mit diversen anderen Wohnungen teilt ist super und sehr sauber. Wir hatten ihn meistens für uns alleine.Leider ist die Unterkunft schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Einiges ist defekt und durch das Alter auch schmuddelig. Die Betten und Handtücher waren aber alle sauber. Das Schlafzimmer im Untergeschoss hätten wir nicht nutzen wollen - sehr feucht und modrig - das fanden wir ganz schrecklich. Aufenthaltsraum und Badezimmer im UG auch feucht und modrig, aber nutzbar.Zusammengefasst ist unserer Meinung nach die Unterkunft für max. 7 Personen gut nutzbar, wenn man großen Wert auf Lage und Sicht legt und den Zustand/Sauberkeit der Ausstattung etwas zurückstellt.

Great location. Wonderful views. Property was stuffy on arrival. Kitchen had visible signs of wear/damage to cabinet facing. Bathroom showers were dirty with mold on wall tiles and floor pan. Light in bathroom didn’t work. Property is showing its age.

Pros: the views and the size of property is good for larger groups. The basement is huge but only a few porthole windows. The upstairs has a large veranda with wonderful view. Cons: the place reeked as there was “fresh” garlic just sitting in a cabinet going bad. The place was not very clean. It looked like it had been lightly cleaned but looked like it had been done several weeks prior. The towels had rust stains and were terribly thin. The sheets had holes in them. The place was run down and several light bulbs were burnt out. We were there only two nights else I would have complained There was a basic stale stench in the bathroom. Not freshly cleaned whatsoever. It desperately needs attention and fixing up. The pillows are hardly what I would consider pillows rather padded cardboard. Flat and very uncomfortable. Bring your own if you can.

Beliggenheten til leiligheten var utmerket med kort gangavstand til byens spisesteder og matinnkjøp. Det var også kort vei til fergekaia som brakte oss til de andre byene i regionen. Et stort minus for oss sykkel og fotball interesserte at ikke TV signalene fungerte de første dagene. Da det ble reparert viste det seg at kanalutvalget var svært begrenset slik at det ikke var i bruk.

Menaggio and the location were wonderful. The unit was smaller than depicted in the pictures and is in need of some upgrading. The walk to and from town was an interesting adventure!
