Uns hat die Unterkunft sehr gefallen, auch die Kommunikation mit Herr Tamé oder mit Happy Rentals hat stets geklappt. Auch die Lage war äusserst ansprechend, vorallem mit dem direkten Seezugang und den zur Verfügung stehenden StandUpPaddle‘s, einfach perfekt:) Herr Tamé war sehr hilfsbereit, und für Fragen rund um die Wohnung oder Ausflugsideen nahm er sich gerne Zeit. Seconda volta che alloggiamo a Melide in questo appartamento e siamo stati benissimo. Appartamento ben accessoriato e posizione perfetta, accesso al lago e vicino al centro del paese.

Perfekte Lage, mit eigenen Seezugang. Wohnung war mit viel Charm und vor allem Kühl bei den Temperaturen perfekt. Gastgeber war mehr als nett und wir könnten den Aufenthalt geniessen.

Casa Tamé was a very relaxing stay and had great hosts!! Walkable to restaurants and easy access to the water for swimming and paddle boarding. Great environment in the apartment with cool air flow.

Mr Tamè was very nice and welcomed us. He showed us around the rental and gave us few recommendations. His rental place was spotless. Shower is bit small for a bigger person to get in. 2 bedroom situation is main bedroom is connected to the bunk bed room - very small room. It’s good for family with children who doesn’t mind less privacy. With our situation we were traveling with our adult kids, they didn’t mind. They still love the place. Accommodation is more ideal for couple. Nevertheless we love the structure and the interior of the accommodation. It has character.

Greatest stay by the Lugano lake! The house is well located but still in a quiet area. Kitchen is small but has everything you need. Bathroom is big with great shower and bedrooms have comfy beds. The bulkbed bedroom is really great and it even seems it has airconditioning by the fresh temperature on it. We were four adults and had a lovely time! The area by the lake with stand up is just amazing. Thank you, Claudio!

We loved our stay here and wish we had a few more days. Our host was extremely helpful, informative and welcoming. The beds were all so comfortable we had the best sleep since we left home 3 weeks ago. The home remained cool despite the very hot weather. We also loved the private swimming spot and use of the paddle boards.

Amazing appartment. The rental company was efficient only minor drawback is an expensive cleaning fee - understandable considering it's a company + high hourly rate in CH but still has cost above the cost of 1 night which has quite an impact on a short stay. This is however clear during reservation and doesn't come as a surprise. On the practical side, the owner of the appartment is a very friendly local inhabitant, very welcoming, and eager to give good tips for visits and around. A really beautiful person with an equally beautiful rental. We loved our stay.

This place is a hidden treasure. It is directly opposite the lake and a short walk into town. The house is meticulously maintained and you have access to stand up paddling and kayaking equipment - a sublime experience on the lake. The owner is also remarkable and extremely hospitable. Couldn't rate the experience more highly. This was our second time staying and we hope to return.

Sehr schöne, heimelige und kleine Wohnung, bestens geeignet für Paare. Für die Kinder (unsere im Teenageralter) hat’s eine sehr kleine Kammer ohne Fenster, was eher ungünstig war. Eigener Seezugang ist sehr schön, im Herbst perfekt. Die Wohnung hat alles, was es braucht.

We had the best time! Milede is beautiful but what made it even more special was the unique accommodation which although small had everything we needed, a tremendous history and magnificent unobstructed views of the lake. It was also a short walk to town. The owner was a beautiful man and made our stay one we will remember and share.

Happy rentals was extremely response and easy to rent from. Not as clear in the description but you will stay in the garden apartment within the home of the owner. He will help you get in and to get down to the water and use the SUPs (highly recommended). He and his wife were extremely kind and helpful, they provided many suggestions and information on what to do. It is a beautiful area with lots of views, hiking and great food and wine. Amazing over 400 year old cave, immaculate apartment and 10 min walk to train.

We had a lovely stay in Melide, felt welcomed especially thanks to the owner Claudio who is very lovely and helpful. He came to greet us on our arrival as well as upon departure and also provided us with nice recommendations as well as discounts for activities (hikes, swimming pools etc) in the area. With a 14-month old toddler it’s always a bit challenging to find a kid friendly place and activities. This place was very good, safe for our toddler to walk around despite the few steps in the apartment. There’s a nice little private garden by the front door as well as a private spot by the lake with chairs to relax and enjoy the wonderful view. Our contact at Happy Rentals, Sonja, was also very friendly, responsive and flexible. She allowed us to check out a little later on our departure day so that our son could quietly have his morning nap at the BnB before we hit the road. Very much appreciated. Thank you all for making our family weekend special.

Eine wunderschöne und gemütliche Ferienwohnung mit einer tollen Aussicht und eigenem Zugang zum See. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt von Herrn Tamè und uns wurde alles erklärt. Von der Wohnung aus kann man den Ort sehr gut zu Fuß erreichen. Wir haben uns rundum Wohl gefühlt. Happy Rentals hatte uns im Vorfeld alle nötigen Informationen zur Verfügung gestellt.

Perfect long weekend, location is idyllic, we enjoyed time at lake and host made everything to feel comfortable - SUP, sun-bed and lounge chairs. Home gives a unique feeling of history snd legacy behind. Kitchen is fully equipped, restaurants 3 minutes walk and train station in 10 minutes. Hope we will be back one day!

We are a family of 4 with two teenage girls. This place is great for a short stay (we stayed 3 nights). Would be fine for a couple for longer stays. Apartment very clean with everything you need and friendly host living directly above. Direct access to lake across the road (road gets busy at times) and owner allows use of 3 sets of paddle board equipment, we were out on lake every afternoon for an hour. Couple of decent restaurants near by and a short drive away is the lovely town of Morcote with more bars and restaurants. Car hire recommended to surrounding area.

The apartment is beautiful. It is old, but well kept with some original and authentic features. The layout is a little odd and results in a lack of natural light in some rooms though. It is built on the main road in Melide so it can get a bit noisy. The apartment is about 10 mins walk from Melide train station and 1 min walk from a bus stop. The bus is much less frequent than the trains. There are some decent (but not amazing) restaurants nearby. The direct access to the lake is awesome and a big bonus. Unfortunately its a little small and difficult to relax there, but for swimming or paddle boarding it is perfect. The host provides everything you need for paddling boarding. The host was very friendly and more than willing to cater for our needs. We did not realize however that the host lives up stairs. The apartment is technically separated, but not entirely. While working remotely from this apartment we were made aware of the hosts presence as he busied himself about the garden.

Nice functional property, with an excellent host who lives above. Within metres of the lake and town facilities. Small garden to the front and view of lake and mountains. Small function second bedroom accessed via the main bedroom. Cleaner were on site at 10:00 sharp so a late checkout should be arranged before travel, especially if you have a late flight home. Owner and agent should explore offering guests a Ticino travel card like hotels and campsites. This would be an excellent addition to the current offer and offer reduced and free local travel and discounted entry to activities. All in all a very comfortable stay on our first visit to this beautiful location.

Wir waren mit unseren 2 Kindern für 2 Nächte in Melide. Die Küche ist sehr klein, für einen kurzen Aufenthalt aber ausreichend. Sehr sauber und es war alles da.
