Un'affascinante ala convertita di un'antica Casa Colonica, che offre l'equilibrio perfetto per esplorare Firenze e allo stesso tempo godersi la splendida campagna toscana. È una scelta di vacanza ideale per famiglie o gruppi di amici. La casa è circondata da giardini ben curati, con vista sulle colline vicino alla città di Firenze (a soli 5 km). Costruita in stile tradizionale, con pavimenti in cotto al piano terra e soffitti a volta in mattoni, la casa, che può ospitare 6 persone, ha un ampio soggiorno al piano terra. Il soggiorno è arredato in stile contemporaneo con 2 grandi divani e una TV a schermo piatto. Le porte-finestre conducono dal soggiorno a una loggia d'angolo dove gli ospiti possono rilassarsi su diverse poltrone tradizionali toscane in metallo. Gli archi della loggia si aprono sul giardino privato, dove si trovano un tavolo e delle sedie per cenare all'aperto. L'ampia cucina a pianta aperta si raggiunge tramite una piccola rampa di scale in pietra dal soggiorno e dispone di un tavolo da pranzo per 6 persone. Tout est globalement bien, la seule vrais difficulté est de parvenir à l'entrée de la maison par un chemin raide et pierreux donc valises lourdes a éviter en revanche l'hôte nous a aidé a monter celle-ci, un grand merci. Nous avons un problème de robinetterie dans la cuisine, l'hôte est venu constater rapidement et à changer la Robinetterie. Merci!!

We spent a week in the Florence area: 3 nights a few blocks from the Duomo and the rest of the time at Certosa 5. It is so peaceful and convenient. The bus stop is a few feet away and Bus 37 will take you to the grocery store, Esselunga in Galluzzo, a few stops toward Florence. Bus 37 will also take you into Florence in about 30 minutes and terminates at Santa Maria Novella train station. We would get off the bus at the Sant Onofrio bus stop which is just south of Arno River. From there, it’s an easy walk across the bridges to see the sights of downtown Florence. Buy tickets early to the Academia del Galleria to see The David, magnificent! Certosa 5 is a beautiful place and felt like home! Stefano is very responsive very kind. We arrived early and had to wait at the park by the bus stop. Stefano picked us up and drove our 5 large pieces of luggage to the home.

We were greeted at the front gate by Stefano, he was friendly and full of information. We had a very nice stay, cooked meals in the kitchen, made good coffee in the moka pots and slept well in the beds. It was nice having a gate, though the neighborhood was very quiet. All the windows looked out to greenery or hills, it was beautiful.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Certosa 7 property just outside Florence. The house was tidy and well equipped. Our holiday included visits to the Uffizi (so much to see would probably need 2 days!!), a day trip to Pisa, visiting the amazing piazza’s and admiring the churches, baptistery’s and bell towers which seemed to be around every corner. We used buses from the nearby bus stop every day. I found the app ‘Moovit’ which I found best for predicting when a bus would come. There were 7 of us on this visit and the property was the perfect size for us.

nos encantó la casa, íbamos 7 amigos y estuvimos genial. una de las cosas que nos genero dudas fue que la calefacción se pagase aparte... pero cuando llegamos, nos los explicó, fue muy claro y transparente y creemos que es una manera eficaz de hacer un uso responsable. La casa está bien comunicada con autobuses a Florencia y sienna,con mucha frecuencia y se pueden coger los billetes en un bar al lado de la estación. Maps no indica de manera correcta las conexiones de bus. El 37 es el que te deja en el centro y vale 1,70 la casa es amplia, las camas muy cómodas,baños limpios, la cocina tb es amplia y el salón una zona de reunión muy acogedora. Los alrededores de la casa son muy bonitos, dentro de un entorno natural y el acceso es fácil. Para llegar al restaurante, bar, parada de bus... hay que ir un pequeño tramo por la carretera y nos pareció un poco peligroso.El anfitrión fue muy atento y no nos puso ningún problema con el check-in/out. un lugar estupendo,gracias por todo!

A bit hard to find the first time, but after that no problem. Bus into the city was easy, although the buses listed, even on the app, didn’t always run. Great wine store across the street, cappuccinos across from the bus stop are a must, and the restaurant La Bianchina was honestly some of the best meals we had in Florence!

We found everything to be wonderful, clean and really beautiful. The garden part of the house was also spectacular and it was lovely to have our breakfast out on the porch almost every morning. Our only "problem" with the house was that some kitchen supplies were not provided unlike other Airbnbs in which we have stayed before (salt, oil, pepper, trash bags). The neighborhood is breathtakingly gorgeous, but the public transport is not the most reliable, so moving around would have been easier by car. Overall we enjoyed our stay and are very thankful to you to have experienced Toscana. I would recommend the house to everyone!

Gostamos bastante da casa! Mas precisa de mais cuidados! Por exemplo, havia muitos mosquitos na casa! Também acho importante destacar o fato da taxa de serviço não estar incluída no pagamento no site da Airbnb e ser exigida em dinheiro quando vai fazer o check in, ou seja, isso deve ficar mais claro pra quem está alugando!

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön geschnitten und komfortabel ausgestattet. Die Küche ist für Gäste, die selbst gern kochen gut ausgestattet. Nur mit dem Backofen muss vorsichtig hantiert werden, er ist nicht mit Starkstrom versehen. Die Terrasse lädt zum Draußenessen ein. Bequeme Stühle lassen sich zum Lesen und entspannen nutzen. Das Haus ist günstig in der Nähe einer Bushaltestelle nach Florenz gelegen. Großer Supermarkt ist nur etwa 3 km entfernt. Leider gibt es viel Verkehr auf der Straße vorm Haus, das ist das einzige Manko.

l'emplacement très pratique pour rejoindre Florence en bus, le logement et le cadre. Par contre, la rue très passante juste en bas du terrain est bruyante surtout la nuit

The house was perfect for us (7 person). Clean and appropriate, the host is friendly and helpful. Florence’s downtown is only 10 minutes far by car, where you can find blue parking places (blue means usable for tourists). Halfway to downtown Florence, there is a large hypermarket where you can find everything you could possibly need.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Certosa 7 property just outside Florence. The house was tidy and well equipped. Our holiday included visits to the Uffizi (so much to see would probably need 2 days!!), a day trip to Pisa, visiting the amazing piazza’s and admiring the churches, baptistery’s and bell towers which seemed to be around every corner. We used buses from the nearby bus stop every day. I found the app ‘Moovit’ which I found best for predicting when a bus would come. There were 7 of us on this visit and the property was the perfect size for us.

nos encantó la casa, íbamos 7 amigos y estuvimos genial. una de las cosas que nos genero dudas fue que la calefacción se pagase aparte... pero cuando llegamos, nos los explicó, fue muy claro y transparente y creemos que es una manera eficaz de hacer un uso responsable. La casa está bien comunicada con autobuses a Florencia y sienna,con mucha frecuencia y se pueden coger los billetes en un bar al lado de la estación. Maps no indica de manera correcta las conexiones de bus. El 37 es el que te deja en el centro y vale 1,70 la casa es amplia, las camas muy cómodas,baños limpios, la cocina tb es amplia y el salón una zona de reunión muy acogedora. Los alrededores de la casa son muy bonitos, dentro de un entorno natural y el acceso es fácil. Para llegar al restaurante, bar, parada de bus... hay que ir un pequeño tramo por la carretera y nos pareció un poco peligroso.El anfitrión fue muy atento y no nos puso ningún problema con el check-in/out. un lugar estupendo,gracias por todo!

A bit hard to find the first time, but after that no problem. Bus into the city was easy, although the buses listed, even on the app, didn’t always run. Great wine store across the street, cappuccinos across from the bus stop are a must, and the restaurant La Bianchina was honestly some of the best meals we had in Florence!

We found everything to be wonderful, clean and really beautiful. The garden part of the house was also spectacular and it was lovely to have our breakfast out on the porch almost every morning. Our only "problem" with the house was that some kitchen supplies were not provided unlike other Airbnbs in which we have stayed before (salt, oil, pepper, trash bags). The neighborhood is breathtakingly gorgeous, but the public transport is not the most reliable, so moving around would have been easier by car. Overall we enjoyed our stay and are very thankful to you to have experienced Toscana. I would recommend the house to everyone!

Gostamos bastante da casa! Mas precisa de mais cuidados! Por exemplo, havia muitos mosquitos na casa! Também acho importante destacar o fato da taxa de serviço não estar incluída no pagamento no site da Airbnb e ser exigida em dinheiro quando vai fazer o check in, ou seja, isso deve ficar mais claro pra quem está alugando!

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön geschnitten und komfortabel ausgestattet. Die Küche ist für Gäste, die selbst gern kochen gut ausgestattet. Nur mit dem Backofen muss vorsichtig hantiert werden, er ist nicht mit Starkstrom versehen. Die Terrasse lädt zum Draußenessen ein. Bequeme Stühle lassen sich zum Lesen und entspannen nutzen. Das Haus ist günstig in der Nähe einer Bushaltestelle nach Florenz gelegen. Großer Supermarkt ist nur etwa 3 km entfernt. Leider gibt es viel Verkehr auf der Straße vorm Haus, das ist das einzige Manko.

l'emplacement très pratique pour rejoindre Florence en bus, le logement et le cadre. Par contre, la rue très passante juste en bas du terrain est bruyante surtout la nuit

The house was perfect for us (7 person). Clean and appropriate, the host is friendly and helpful. Florence’s downtown is only 10 minutes far by car, where you can find blue parking places (blue means usable for tourists). Halfway to downtown Florence, there is a large hypermarket where you can find everything you could possibly need.
