La struttura dispone di una splendida piscina in comune con sedie a sdraio, ideale per godersi un tuffo in tutta tranquillità o semplicemente per rilassarsi ammirando il panorama mozzafiato sulle montagne e sul lago. Posizione
Questa casa vacanze con vista sul lago si trova in una posizione tranquilla e pittoresca a San Siro, a due passi dalla splendida Villa Gaeta. L’appartamento è inoltre facilmente raggiungibile in auto dalle altre famose località del lago, offrendo il perfetto equilibrio tra accessibilità e distanza dalle solite folle del Lago di Como. L’appartamento dista appena 5 minuti da Menaggio, una delle località del Triangolo d’Oro, da dove gli ospiti possono prendere i traghetti per le altre due località, Varenna e Bellagio. Inoltre, la città di Como dista solo un’ora di auto da qui.
Per chi non ne ha mai abbastanza dei panorami mozzafiato del Lago di Como, San Siro è la base perfetta per le escursioni, poiché è costituito da una serie di borghi collegati tra loro da numerosi sentieri pittoreschi, che creano così una rete escursionistica ampia e molto apprezzata. Nelle vicinanze si trovano anche numerose piccole spiagge dove rilassarsi. L’aeroporto internazionale più vicino è quello di Milano Malpensa, a circa 90 minuti di auto.

Man sollte unbedingt ein Auto haben, da die Unterkunft sonst etwas abgeschottet ist. Ansonsten ist die Umgebung wunderschön und man hat einen fantastischen Ausblick aus der Unterkunft. Die Ausstattung ist schlicht und ausreichend. Der Gemeinschaftspool ist super für eine morgendliche Abkühlung. Die Ente, die immer wieder am Pool verweilte, war ein gern gesehener Gast.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The location is beautiful with a magnificent view, and we really enjoyed our time here. Everything was very clean, the beds were perfectly prepared, and towels were provided, which made our arrival very comfortable. Communication was excellent – responses were always quick and helpful, even when we had a small issue, which was resolved promptly. Overall, a very pleasant experience that we can definitely recommend. Thank you for a great stay!

The view is the golden ticket of this villa. Stunning and peaceful. Its location is easy and a 15min drive into the centre of Menaggio and a 35-40min walk to the Ferry port in Menaggio. It’s exactly as the photos show. A little tip to find the access road with very limited signage if you are using a GPS. We found it much easier to find if you look for/ type in Villa La Gaeta (San Siro, near Menaggio). The famous villa where James Bond was filmed for Casino Royal. If we knew that was a stand out landmark we would have found the drive way access much easier to locate late at night. The address or Google co-ords on the check in instructions may not work on some platforms. Also 25min away is an amazing Vineyard / lunch/ tasting experience that overlooks the Swiss Alps. Azienda Agricola Sorsasso for wine lovers looking for a unique day out. A great villa for a spectacular part of the world.

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit grandioser Aussicht! Die Ferienwohnung liegt in einer gepflegten Anlage mit großem Pool und bietet eine beeindruckende Aussicht auf den Comer See. Der direkte Zugang zum Uferradweg ist ideal – Menaggio ist gut mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist hochwertig, lediglich die Pantryküche (nur zwei Kochstellen, einfachste Ikea-Ausstattung) fällt ab. Die Zufahrt zur Anlage ist sehr steil, und die Garage eignet sich nur für kleinere Fahrzeuge – das sollte man bei der Anreise bedenken. Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Unterkunft in traumhafter Lage mit kleinen praktischen Einschränkungen.

Die Aussicht und die baulichen Bedingungen der Wohnung war super. Leider war die Wohnung bei Ankunft gar nicht gereinigt. Dieses wurden unkompliziert bei guter Kommunikation nachgeholt. Allerdings war die Reinigungaqualität nicht besonders. Schmutzige Scheuerleisten, Spinnenweben in den Ecken und Duschvoläger die nicht getauscht wurden. Wenn man selber zum Besen und Kehrblech greifen wollte, war diese sehr verschmutzt. Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren aber sehr gut und in Ordnung. Die Außenanlage mit Pool war sehr gepflegt und gut zu nutzen. Die Dusche draußen war, wenn man wollte auch warm, sodass da keine Wünsche offen blieben. Die Garage war mit unserem VW Sharan nicht zu nutzen und absolut zu klein. Wir haben vor der Anlage geparkt. Das war für uns in Ordnung, muss aber auf jedenfall bedacht werden, wenn man nicht gut zu Fuß ist. Insgesamt war es ein gute Unterkunft, mit traumhafter Aussicht!

We never received the garage key. We contact the host office since the first day because they provided us a wrong key. The promised to send somebody that never went in a week!!!

The property has a beautiful view but was very dated. The sliding door to the balcony did not function well, so we had to leave it open all the time. The lock in the frontdoor did not function well because something was broken. We locked ourselves in or could not open it anymore from the outside. So we had to leave it open all the time. Somerone came to fix it, but hé said that nothiing was wrong and you need special feeling to open the door. That is not what we expect on our vacation. The garages are much to small for modern cars, so we could not use it. We had to park outside the property. Walking up and down a very steep road every time we went somewhere. There were some mold places in the shower and there is a very small Electric boiler. It took very long behore the water came on temperature for showering or dish washing.
