We liked very much the cleanliness, location and the special atmosphere of being right between the lake and the vibrant town. The terrace of Stella del Lago offers great views. The area is somewhat noisy especially on weekends, but if you can deal with that, it's a beautiful place.

Amazing view of Lake Maggiore Loved watching the action on the piazza from the second balcony. Having both sides, the peaceful lake view and fascinating people watching, plus the living area watching it all make this place very special. This is one of our favorite rentals of all time.

The view was incredible and we were able to enjoy the balcony, overlooking the castle, lake, and activity of the square. The host was fantastic and let us check in early. We stayed with our two young children and it was safe, so we were able to relax. The host provided a crib and high chair.

This apartment is a hidden gem and if you're looking for somewhere to stay in Arona or Lake Maggiore and it's free - book it immediately! The location is amazing and the views from the terrace are magical. The host was incredibly friendly and super responsive, they helped out with local recommendations and went above and beyond to ensure our arrival, stay and check out process were seamless. The added benefit of the parking permit was brilliant. We've stayed in lots of AirBnBs and I have to stay this is by far one of my favourites, a real stand out - such a memorable and beautiful place. We'd highly recommend it to anyone.

Amazing location and great flat. The noise is definitely not as bad as mentioned but other reviewers. Do bear in mind that there is no AC in the bedroom.

Great location straight at the lake. Plenty of restaurants around. Parking was easy - just around 200m away. we are looking forward to go there again.

An absolutely fantastic apartment. Wonderful terrace looking over the lake and great people watching looking out over the piazza Spick and span, everything you’d need. Only wanted for a dishwasher! Only negative and not to do with the apartment. Expect a lot of noise particularly on Friday evenings from revellers in the square. And an early morning wake up with the clean up! If you’re a light sleeper, come prepared with ear buds!

The most beautiful apartment we have visited. Right in the most ideal place in Arona centre. This is criticised by other reviews to be too busy, please do not think this. The town has a slightly older demographic and by 11pm the town centre on a Friday night settles down. We felt very much a part of the Italian lifestyle and enjoyed this very much. There is plenty to do in the area however, we cancelled some plans just to stay close to the apartment and enjoy the beautiful views from the balcony, enjoy the town and watch the town at night. Check in was very easy and I understand that requiring all the guests details is actually by law in Italy so give a few extra minutes to carry this out. Parking is nearby and free with the apartments parking pass. A great touch. The apartment is completely spotless with a few lovely touches like fresh washing up tabs, personal cleaning items all provided.

Staggering views and perfect location if you want everything nearby. Cafe's and resturants all within easy walking distance. Good train and bus service to explore furthur up the lake. 10/10 for the perfect appartment. Only criticism - a lack of any water taxi's to take you around the lake, only the ferry service. Although we did get a train to Stresa where we took boat trips to the islands (well worth doing).

We had an amazing stay in this gorgeous apartment. It was impeccably clean and well-equipped. The location is great, and the view is absolutely incredible. Hosts are very responsive, and all the directions and instructions are clear. We're looking forward to returning to Arona to stay here again. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

We had a pleasant stay at this beautiful appartment. The flexible self-check-in was simple and worked out perfectly. Our host responded instantly to all our messages and was very friendly. The rooms were clean and offered solid equipment. Our highlight was the wonderful terrace with astonishing lake view - exactly as shown on the pictures.

The floor plan of Stella del lago was well thought out. Everything was sparkling clean! The bed, hide-a-bed and linens were very comfortable. We loved the porch view of Lake Maggiore. Great place to sit and watch the sunrise and sunset. The apartment is within walking distance of the ferry station and plenty of restaurants. It was very convenient that Francesca and her team could provide us with a party pass to a nearby parking lot. Love our visit to Arona!

Appartement exceptionnel par sa vue sur le lac. La chambre donnant sur la rue est un peu bruyante. Un supplément est demandé pour la climatisation et elle ne fonctionnait pas seulement le premier jour. Très bonne adresse malgré cela.

Eine wirklich schöne Unterkunft, die den Charm des See’s total aufgreift. Alles war wie im Beschrieb vorhanden und es wurde sogar für den Empfang schon Wasser für unser Hund bereit gestellt und eine Prosecco Flasche für uns stand auch schon als Willkommens Gruss auf den Tisch. Wir fühlten uns sofort zuhause. Die Wohnung war sauber und gut vom Parkplatz zu erreichen. Leider musste der Parkplatz täglich bezahlt werden und wir waren an Zeiten gebunden, da der Parkplatz bis zu einer gewissen Zeit bezahlt war. Pro Tag zahlten wir zwischen 5-10 Euro Parkplatz. Auch den Abfall muss man selber entsorgen (um nicht 35 Euro Mahn Gebühr beim Check out zu zahlen) und somit muss man schauen wann die Müllabfuhr kommt um ihn nach draussen zu stellen. Aber im Grossen und ganzen klappte alles reibungslos. Der Check in wurde super organisiert und auch die Unterkunft lag inmitten von allem. Alles war zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Ein wunderschönes Appartement am See das einem lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird.

The Appartement is really beautiful and nice situated - but if you want to sleep and relax in the evening be aware of the nusic and the party people underneath your windows.

We enjoyed our stay in Arona. The apartment has a great location right in the town that can get a little noisy at nights due to the close proximity to bars. The apartment itself was nice, though not that cosy in rainy weather. The booking process was a pain. The host is a company and expected registration on the website, plus extra payment options and requirements would pop-up on the website. This was not pleasant. Also the host became unresponsive on Airbnb and would only communicate via SMS, email or WhatsAp. I think the host should either make that clear on the Airbnb ad or keep all communications to Airbnb.
