What to expect at the Isole che Parlano Festival?

Seamlessly weaving together tradition and innovation across music, theatre, and visual arts, the 2025 edition of the festival will run from 6 to 14 September, bringing a vibrant programme of international artists to Palau, La Maddalena, Arzachena, and Luogosanto.

2024 Highlights

Drawing from last year’s vibrant edition (31 August – 8 September 2024), attendees experienced a rich and diverse cultural journey across Gallura:

  • Isole che Parlano di Musica: The festival opened with early concerts and activities in Arzachena and Luogosanto, followed by live music events from 5 to 8 September in unique outdoor venues

  • Isole che Parlano di Fotografia: Sguardo di frontiera, a retrospective of Ivo Saglietti, was hosted at Palau’s Cineteatro Montiggia from 5 September to 6 October, showcasing award-winning photojournalism.

  • Isole che Parlano ai Bambini: From 2 to 4 September, creative workshops invited children and families to explore sound design, sculpture, percussion, and Sardinian archaeology, including a guided visit to the Tomba dei Giganti.

  • Isole che Parlano di Sapori: Throughout the festival, visitors could enjoy tastings of local wines and traditional dishes at various locations around Palau.
