30 May – 7 June: Giro d’Italia Women
The 2026 Giro d’Italia Women's includes a mountain stage finishing in Sestriere at Colle delle Finestre. This classic summit challenge draws top professional cyclists as part of the UCI Women’s World Tour.
Editor's Tip: Golf enthusiasts can visit the Sestriere Golf Club, an 18-hole PAR 65 course at 2,035 meters, one of Europe's highest.
June
21 June to 1st August - Juventus Summer Camp:
This summer, Sestriere hosts the highest Juventus summer camp in Europe! Boys and girls aged 8 to 17 can hone their skills under certified Juventus coaches, experiencing the Olympic mountains while perfecting their game. A special program for goalkeepers ensures comprehensive training.
27 and 28 June - HAT Sestriere:
Conquer the mountains on two wheels, calling all motorcycle
adventurers! The HAT Adventourfest is here! Leading motorcycle brands will
showcase their latest models for test rides in the breathtaking Montagne
Olimpiche. The HAT Village at Piazzale Kandahar will feature live music,
interactive stands, and over 100 motorcycles to test. Learn from workshops,
mini-courses, and a dedicated Boot Camp.
July
4 July - Tour dell’Assietta MTD
This mountain bike race takes place on the Strada
dell'Assietta, a historic military road offering challenging terrain and
stunning views.
5 July - Gran Fondo Sestriere/Colle delle Finestre
One of Italy's most iconic and challenging cycling events. The race starts in Sestriere Borgata. The event offers cyclists a chance to take on an exhilarating route through some of the most beautiful and demanding terrain in the Alps.

Witness the spectacle of speed and determination on Colle delle Finestre.
12 and 13 July - 44th Cesana–Sestriere & 14th Cesana–Sestriere Experience
This classic hill climb event brings historic and contemporary vehicles up the scenic Cesana-Sestriere road. Expect nostalgic cars, passionate crowds, and dramatic Alpine views.
August
(Dates to be declared) - Sestriere Film Festival:
An international film event dedicated to mountain culture. The festival promotes highlands through cinema and various collateral events, including art, music, photography, awards, and excursions. The themes of exploration, excursions, alpinism, and verticality are central to the festival. The festival is free to enter.
9 August – Slurp! and stars:
San Lorenzo's magical night in Sestriere features panoramic
views, Chef Antonio De Luca's cuisine, fine sparkling wine, and live music, all
creating the perfect atmosphere to watch the Perseid meteor shower with loved
ones.
15 August - Ferragosto Concert:
Celebrate Ferragosto, the Italian holiday commemorating the
Assumption of Mary, with a special concert in Piazza Fraiteve on August 15th.
Enjoy a variety of musical performances by local artists and groups, creating a
festive atmosphere under the starry sky.
(Date to be declared) – Slurp! and walk:
A gourmet hike combining hiking with culinary delights! Join the Slurp and Walk event. This outdoor lunch takes you along the scenic trails of the Susa and Chisone Valleys, where you'll taste traditional dishes made with local ingredients at various stops. Pack comfortable shoes, sunglasses, a tasting glass, and your sense of adventure.
