This July, the heart of the French Alps transforms into a climber’s paradise as Chamonix hosts the IFSC Climbing World Cup from July 10–12, 2026. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Mont Blanc, this event promises thrilling competitions in both Speed and Lead climbing disciplines.
The Climbing World Cup has been held in Chamonix since 2000, making it one of the long-standing and beloved events in the IFSC calendar. The event has grown steadily in popularity, attracting some of the world’s top climbers and climbing fans alike. The unique setting, a natural amphitheatre in the town square with Mont Blanc towering above, has helped turn this into a truly world-class spectacle.
