Locatie
Het appartement ligt in een levendige wijk. Gasten kunnen het grootste deel van het centrum van Zagreb te voet verkennen en enkele van de populairste bezienswaardigheden bezoeken, waaronder de kathedraal (10 minuten), die in de 11e eeuw werd gesticht maar na een aardbeving in 1880 werd verbouwd. Er zijn ook alternatieve, wat eigenzinnigere bezienswaardigheden, zoals het Museum van Gebroken Relaties (15 minuten) en het Museum van de Kater (8 minuten). Of ga naar de Tkalčićeva-straat in de Bovenstad (15 minuten) met zijn cafés en bars:
Het Ban Jelačić-plein is het hart van de stad. Het plein wordt omringd door een aantal prachtige gebouwen uit de late 19e eeuw en later. De Ilica-laan loopt vanaf het plein en is de langste winkelstraat van Zagreb. Hier vind je zowel internationale als lokale merken, evenals een aantal goede koffiebars.
De stad heeft veel boerenmarkten waar je de beste lokale producten kunt kopen om thuis te koken. De grootste, de Dolac-markt, ligt op slechts 10 minuten afstand. Ook het Britanski Trg (Brits Plein) ligt op slechts 20 minuten van het appartement. Doordeweeks is dit dé plek om samen met de lokale bevolking boodschappen te doen en op zondag verandert het plein in een antiekmarkt waar bezoekers interessante en leuke antieke spullen kunnen vinden.
De internationale luchthaven Franjo Tudman in Zagreb ligt op 36 minuten rijden.
Helaas zijn huisdieren in deze accommodatie niet toegestaan.

The apartment was exactly as advertised: clean, well-located, with enough amenities for a pleasant stay in Zagreb. The street in front is busy and there is some late night and early morning traffic noise, but that's what you get to stay in the center. Access to shops, restaurants, groceries, and the cultural sights is outstanding. 10 minute walk from the train station, shorter than that to the central square.

The flat itself was clean and very well presented, instructions to get in were easily followed. Only quarm I have is the TV wasn't working, I sent a message on WhatsApp to the number they gave me, but still no reply from them. Apart from that, I enjoyed the stay.

The apartment is very conveniently located. It also has all the amenities. It does need some overhaul. There is no mosquito net on the window, which is necessary as otherwise there is smell in the apartment. The wiring is probably in bad shape in the apartment, as the MCBs were tripping if more than two lights were turned on at once. The kitchen exhaust also tripped it. Please provide sufficient matchsticks or preferably a gas lighter for the gas hob, we had to be very careful in using them, and we are not experienced with gas hob without gas lighter. There were only two tablets for dishwasher even though we had booked the apartment for 3 nights. There should be at least one for each night.

Good location between train station and main square. Easy to walk to anywhere. Bed was comfortable and water pressure/temperature was good. Efficient radiators which warmed up the apartment very quickly.
