De twee slaapkamers hier zijn zorgvuldig ingericht met een extra vleugje flexibiliteit, en bestaan uit 1 tweepersoonskamer en 1 kamer met twee eenpersoonsbedden. De rustgevende tweepersoonsslaapkamer heeft een groot dakraam en een dakraam met uitzicht op de charmante herenhuizen op het plein. We liked the amount of space perfect for a family of 4 with two teenagers. The location was amazing and we loved the views. Great facilities if you did want to eat in. We ate out in the local restaurants which were 2 minutes away. Easy directions for getting into the apartment and support on the phone when I was being silly and turning the key the wrong way.

The apartment is in an excellent location in the heart of Varenna, right above the popular Al Prato restaurant, with a beautiful view of the lake. The living area is spacious and comfortable, and the host was helpful and responsive. A complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch, and the beds provided a good night’s sleep. However, the apartment was missing some basic supplies, including adequate toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, dish soap, and sponges. If cost is a concern for the management, it might make more sense to skip the bottle of wine and instead provide basic essentials. In a small town like this, it’s not always clear where to buy those items. The sofa is very worn and in need of replacement. The bedrooms are located in the attic with low, sloped ceilings. It worked fine for three adults but could be challenging for four. There’s no air conditioning, though the lake breeze at night made it more comfortable.

The property has amazing views. There were 4 of us (adults), we found the bedrooms ok, but the bathroom had a problem, I think due to thin pipes in the building, the shower was leaking - so the floor around the shower cabin would have water. The lights did not work, and the hair dryer was broken, luckily one of us had one with her. The area is lovely, the flat is in the same building as the restaurant Al Prato, highly-rated one. We had a lovely time overall.

The apartment is clean and well kept. The location is excellent because it feels quiet inside but is just right around the corner from the shops and restaurants. Great views of the lake out of the two small balconies. Check-in instructions were very informative. Appreciated having a dishwasher and clothes washer. Overall a very nice place and would stay again if ever back in Varenna. A few things that could have made the stay a little more comfortable: The kitchen was modern, clean, and well equipped with most dishes, however we found a few things missing. There was only one wine glass (we had planned to enjoy wine in Italy!), only one dishwasher tablet (we had to buy more), no salt and pepper, no liquid dishsoap at the sink. I imagine most people want to eat at restaurants which we did as well, but cooked a few meals at home and found ourselves needing to buy several of these basic things. The WiFi was not reliable which we had looked forward to using. There was a wireless router in the room but it did not appear to be working properly. I briefly unplugged it to see if a reset would help but while unplugged the wifi network was still active WiFi was coming from somewhere else in the building and that router was useless. This could be an easy fix with a wifi extender. Also note the grocery store in town is a micro market but they do carry a good selection of food and household goods. Their hours are 7AM-1PM and 4PM-7PM. We arrived after 7PM so did not have access to groceries the first night. The nearest large size store is in Menaggio which is about a 20 minute ferry ride away then a 10 minute walk from the ferry station. We really liked being able to take the ferry to the nearby cities. The unlimited day pass of 15 euros for the central lake area was convenient and a nice way to see Menaggio and Bellagio. Also Varenna has tourists but not like what we saw in Bellagio. It's kind of nice in the evening when many of the tourists leave and we are able to have a nice dinner in the restaurants.

We loved our stay, apartment was fabulous with fantastic view of the lake. Instructions were a little confusing as our keys were in a different box. Wine on arrival was lovely gesture but no corkscrew in the apartment. Host suggested I buy one and they would reimburse me but I couldn't find one nearby. Would recommend this apartment to others.

Great location, view, host & great price! It was very nice to receive a Welcome box with appreciated food items and a bottle of wine! Unfortunately we couldn't open the wine since there was no wine opener. All good things to say except difficult to find parking and difficulty trying to open the door to the apartment, but would highly recommend to stay in this location of Varenna

The apartment was wonderful and the gift box appreciated. One thing however is that there were zero instructions or information on the property provided. Details about where to put rubbish in particular was a problem when you make a specific point that this must be done. A bottle of wine in the gift box but no corkscrew in the apartment. Also it is time to clean the quilts they are marked which isn’t nice. Thank you.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral, Hafen und Bahnhof sind leicht erreichbar, Restaurants in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Die Aussicht auf den See aus App F aus dem Wohnzimmer ist wunderschön und aus dem Schlafzimmerfenster hat man einen tollen Blick auf die Altstadt, vor allem die Abendstimmung ist herrlich. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet. Für Selbstversorger wäre ev noch ein zusätzlicher Topf gut.

We stayed in this AirB&B for two nights with friends. It is centrally located in Varenna and was a short walk from the main dock with our luggage along the street with the main restaurants and lake shore. The hosts were great at providing check in and out instructions ahead of time. The kitchen was largely fully equipped so we bought oil, salt, and ingredients from the local shop and cooked dinner in one night. You'll be rewarded with stunning views and large windows within this accommodation, so it was great to stay in and take advantage. For those of you hoping to take advantage of the washing machine, the host was generous in supplying detergent and we were able to do our laundry. The apartment was equipped with numerous hangers and drying racks which made doing laundry very easy.

We had a wonderful stay. The location is beyond perfect. You can see Lake Como from the apartment, super close to the main center of town. Spacious living area. The obtaining of the keys sounded kind of complicated but if you follow the directions listed it is really quite easy. Great detailed instructions. The ones with the pictures and arrows were amazing. Thanks for being accommodating with an earlier check-in. The communication with the host was GREAT!

Our room had a beautiful lake view. The location was perfectly in the middle of town and walkable to everything. It was clean and the staff was attentive when called. The microwave and tea kettle and some lighting didn’t work. They sent a person to fix the microwave in a few hours. One bathroom upstairs that was tiny for 4 people using it.

Super schöner Urlaub in der Unterkunft ! Top Lage in 1 Minute am See. Parkplätze im Innenhof, aber nur durch eine enge schmale Gasse erreichbar. We stayed at this villa for 4 nights it could easily have been 4 weeks or longer. Beautifully appointed, spacious and comfortable. The location up in the Mountains breathtaking, so central to many large cities, fabulous local cuisine and all topped off by our travel assistants Winnifred and David from Cherry Tree B&B in Polinago. Their local knowledge opened up this region of Italy for us that no other travel guide or map could ever do. I plan to go back, see so many places I missed and complete another cooking class with Rina and Daniella. Fabulous!!

Uns hat der Aufenthalt in der Villa al Prato sehr gut gefallen! Neben der perfekten Lage des Appartments und der sehr geschmacklich abgestimmten Einrichtung ist auch die gute Küchenausstattung (Espresso-Maschine, scharfe Messer etc.) zu erwähnen. Auch ihr Service war sehr gut: Unsere Bitte nach einem zweiten Haustürschlüssel wurde umgehend erfüllt. Wie bereits erwähnt gehabt ließ sich die Appartmenttür nicht richtig schließen - dies lässt sich aber sicherlich durch die Hautechnik schnell beheben. Also wir können nur Gutes berichten und hatten klasse 14 Tage am Comer See !

This is a (+4)-star apartment with a (-3-star) host. This is a corporate managed location and they're awful! They use the ABNB app to communicate sparingly and are unresponsive. We were provided less than one roll of toilet paper for 4 guests, and the host told us they only provide "a few rolls." They did nothing about this. You can read a newspaper through the towels they provide. 2 of 3 light fixtures in the bathroom weren't working and they had some awful lamp in there to compensate. Want to reheat that pizza? Forget it - no adapter to plug the microwave in. The QR codes on the back of the door for restaurants and transportation don't work; of course, the ones advertising their properties do. We were given a box when we arrived. It had 3 packs of instant coffee to hold 4 guests over until a local store opened. It had a bottle of wine - a lovely gesture. It would have been lovelier had either the box or apartment had a corkscrew, but no. Don't do it; go somewhere else.

We liked the convenient location and the pretty views. Kitchen had adequate cutlery; minimal pans/accessories. However, virtually NONE of the appliances other than the fridge and the stove would function, which made even limited cooking difficult. No kitchen towels, dirty used kitchen scrub pad, gross. I liked that were 3 fans for hot upper sleeping level, as no AC in this unit. Liked that washer was on premises and worked (but no directions in English on machine or on premises)

We liked the amount of space perfect for a family of 4 with two teenagers. The location was amazing and we loved the views. Great facilities if you did want to eat in. We ate out in the local restaurants which were 2 minutes away. Easy directions for getting into the apartment and support on the phone when I was being silly and turning the key the wrong way.

The apartment is in an excellent location in the heart of Varenna, right above the popular Al Prato restaurant, with a beautiful view of the lake. The living area is spacious and comfortable, and the host was helpful and responsive. A complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch, and the beds provided a good night’s sleep. However, the apartment was missing some basic supplies, including adequate toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, dish soap, and sponges. If cost is a concern for the management, it might make more sense to skip the bottle of wine and instead provide basic essentials. In a small town like this, it’s not always clear where to buy those items. The sofa is very worn and in need of replacement. The bedrooms are located in the attic with low, sloped ceilings. It worked fine for three adults but could be challenging for four. There’s no air conditioning, though the lake breeze at night made it more comfortable.

The property has amazing views. There were 4 of us (adults), we found the bedrooms ok, but the bathroom had a problem, I think due to thin pipes in the building, the shower was leaking - so the floor around the shower cabin would have water. The lights did not work, and the hair dryer was broken, luckily one of us had one with her. The area is lovely, the flat is in the same building as the restaurant Al Prato, highly-rated one. We had a lovely time overall.

The apartment is clean and well kept. The location is excellent because it feels quiet inside but is just right around the corner from the shops and restaurants. Great views of the lake out of the two small balconies. Check-in instructions were very informative. Appreciated having a dishwasher and clothes washer. Overall a very nice place and would stay again if ever back in Varenna. A few things that could have made the stay a little more comfortable: The kitchen was modern, clean, and well equipped with most dishes, however we found a few things missing. There was only one wine glass (we had planned to enjoy wine in Italy!), only one dishwasher tablet (we had to buy more), no salt and pepper, no liquid dishsoap at the sink. I imagine most people want to eat at restaurants which we did as well, but cooked a few meals at home and found ourselves needing to buy several of these basic things. The WiFi was not reliable which we had looked forward to using. There was a wireless router in the room but it did not appear to be working properly. I briefly unplugged it to see if a reset would help but while unplugged the wifi network was still active WiFi was coming from somewhere else in the building and that router was useless. This could be an easy fix with a wifi extender. Also note the grocery store in town is a micro market but they do carry a good selection of food and household goods. Their hours are 7AM-1PM and 4PM-7PM. We arrived after 7PM so did not have access to groceries the first night. The nearest large size store is in Menaggio which is about a 20 minute ferry ride away then a 10 minute walk from the ferry station. We really liked being able to take the ferry to the nearby cities. The unlimited day pass of 15 euros for the central lake area was convenient and a nice way to see Menaggio and Bellagio. Also Varenna has tourists but not like what we saw in Bellagio. It's kind of nice in the evening when many of the tourists leave and we are able to have a nice dinner in the restaurants.

We loved our stay, apartment was fabulous with fantastic view of the lake. Instructions were a little confusing as our keys were in a different box. Wine on arrival was lovely gesture but no corkscrew in the apartment. Host suggested I buy one and they would reimburse me but I couldn't find one nearby. Would recommend this apartment to others.

Great location, view, host & great price! It was very nice to receive a Welcome box with appreciated food items and a bottle of wine! Unfortunately we couldn't open the wine since there was no wine opener. All good things to say except difficult to find parking and difficulty trying to open the door to the apartment, but would highly recommend to stay in this location of Varenna

The apartment was wonderful and the gift box appreciated. One thing however is that there were zero instructions or information on the property provided. Details about where to put rubbish in particular was a problem when you make a specific point that this must be done. A bottle of wine in the gift box but no corkscrew in the apartment. Also it is time to clean the quilts they are marked which isn’t nice. Thank you.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral, Hafen und Bahnhof sind leicht erreichbar, Restaurants in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Die Aussicht auf den See aus App F aus dem Wohnzimmer ist wunderschön und aus dem Schlafzimmerfenster hat man einen tollen Blick auf die Altstadt, vor allem die Abendstimmung ist herrlich. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet. Für Selbstversorger wäre ev noch ein zusätzlicher Topf gut.

We stayed in this AirB&B for two nights with friends. It is centrally located in Varenna and was a short walk from the main dock with our luggage along the street with the main restaurants and lake shore. The hosts were great at providing check in and out instructions ahead of time. The kitchen was largely fully equipped so we bought oil, salt, and ingredients from the local shop and cooked dinner in one night. You'll be rewarded with stunning views and large windows within this accommodation, so it was great to stay in and take advantage. For those of you hoping to take advantage of the washing machine, the host was generous in supplying detergent and we were able to do our laundry. The apartment was equipped with numerous hangers and drying racks which made doing laundry very easy.

The apartment is in an excellent location in the heart of Varenna, right above the popular Al Prato restaurant, with a beautiful view of the lake. The living area is spacious and comfortable, and the host was helpful and responsive. A complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch, and the beds provided a good night’s sleep. Drying laundry is easy in the living room.

We had a wonderful stay. The location is beyond perfect. You can see Lake Como from the apartment, super close to the main center of town. Spacious living area. The obtaining of the keys sounded kind of complicated but if you follow the directions listed it is really quite easy. Great detailed instructions. The ones with the pictures and arrows were amazing. Thanks for being accommodating with an earlier check-in. The communication with the host was GREAT!

Our room had a beautiful lake view. The location was perfectly in the middle of town and walkable to everything. It was clean and the staff was attentive when called. The microwave and tea kettle and some lighting didn’t work. They sent a person to fix the microwave in a few hours. One bathroom upstairs that was tiny for 4 people using it.

Super schöner Urlaub in der Unterkunft ! Top Lage in 1 Minute am See. Parkplätze im Innenhof, aber nur durch eine enge schmale Gasse erreichbar. Restaurants sind gleich unter der Wohnung im Erdgeschoss und in 1 Minute zu Fuß erreichbar ! In der Wohnung gab es bis auf kleinere Ausnahmen (Geschirrspültücher und Seife sowie Tüchter zum Abtrocknen) keine Mängel. Traumhafter kleiner Ort zum Entspannen und Relaxen !

We stayed at this villa for 4 nights it could easily have been 4 weeks or longer. Beautifully appointed, spacious and comfortable. The location up in the Mountains breathtaking, so central to many large cities, fabulous local cuisine and all topped off by our travel assistants Winnifred and David from Cherry Tree B&B in Polinago. Their local knowledge opened up this region of Italy for us that no other travel guide or map could ever do. I plan to go back, see so many places I missed and complete another cooking class with Rina and Daniella. Fabulous!!

Uns hat der Aufenthalt in der Villa al Prato sehr gut gefallen! Neben der perfekten Lage des Appartments und der sehr geschmacklich abgestimmten Einrichtung ist auch die gute Küchenausstattung (Espresso-Maschine, scharfe Messer etc.) zu erwähnen. Auch ihr Service war sehr gut: Unsere Bitte nach einem zweiten Haustürschlüssel wurde umgehend erfüllt. Wie bereits erwähnt gehabt ließ sich die Appartmenttür nicht richtig schließen - dies lässt sich aber sicherlich durch die Hautechnik schnell beheben. Also wir können nur Gutes berichten und hatten klasse 14 Tage am Comer See !

This is a (+4)-star apartment with a (-3-star) host. This is a corporate managed location and they're awful! They use the ABNB app to communicate sparingly and are unresponsive. We were provided less than one roll of toilet paper for 4 guests, and the host told us they only provide "a few rolls." They did nothing about this. You can read a newspaper through the towels they provide. 2 of 3 light fixtures in the bathroom weren't working and they had some awful lamp in there to compensate. Want to reheat that pizza? Forget it - no adapter to plug the microwave in. The QR codes on the back of the door for restaurants and transportation don't work; of course, the ones advertising their properties do. We were given a box when we arrived. It had 3 packs of instant coffee to hold 4 guests over until a local store opened. It had a bottle of wine - a lovely gesture. It would have been lovelier had either the box or apartment had a corkscrew, but no. Don't do it; go somewhere else.

We liked the convenient location and the pretty views. Kitchen had adequate cutlery; minimal pans/accessories. However, virtually NONE of the appliances other than the fridge and the stove would function, which made even limited cooking difficult. No kitchen towels, dirty used kitchen scrub pad, gross. I liked that were 3 fans for hot upper sleeping level, as no AC in this unit. Liked that washer was on premises and worked (but no directions in English on machine or on premises)
