This was our second stay at Il Golfo and was every bit as good as our first. Apartment is well equipped, very comfortable beds and the view from the balcony is spectacular. Communication with both the head office and the local agent Fabio was very good, always responded quickly and answered all the questions promptly. Location could not be better for shops, restaurants and travel on the lake or trains.

A fantastic find in Laveno. The apartment was very spacious and the balcony was a brilliant place to enjoy the views while having dinner alfresco. You could fall- out bed and be in a cafe, restaurant or wine bar without waking up they are all so close. Supermarket just minutes away. Trains , busses and ferries all within walking distance. Correspondence was minimal as the information was excellent and timely. Local agent Fabio got in touch as when we arrived and was quick to respond to any questions we had. I highly recommend the apartment Il Golfo and hope to be able to return soon.

appartement spacieux, propre, avec une belle vue sur le lac. Laprésentation sur interner correspond bien à la réalité. Toutefois il y avait un petit problème au niveau des sanitaires : douche bloquée par le calcaire donc très dure à ouvrir et siège de cabinet cassé.

Apartamento bien situado, espacioso, luminoso y bien equipado. Ttodas las habitaciones son exteriores y tiene una terraza donde comer con vistas al lago. Muy buena atención por parte del anfitrión. Las camas podrían estar mejor, las individuales son un poco pequeñas para personas adultas y la de matrimonio no era muy cómoda. A pesar de ello, hemos disfrutado de nuestra estancia en Laveno! La ubicación del apartamento cerca del muelle, permite hacer excursiones fácilmente con el ferry a otras ciudades como Intra o a las Islas Borromeas.

Lovely apartment in a very convenient location. Handy to 2 train stations (closest to Laveno Mombello Nord) and the ferry terminal to cross the lake to Intra, where connecting services up and down the lake are possible. The apartment was very well appointed and the deck was beautiful for afternoon drinks looking at the lake and mountain (and for drying clothes). Highly recommend this apartment and this host - Grazie!

Great location, very spacious apartment and spotlessly clean. Close to town, shops and the ferry. Comfortable bed and good shower on suite. All the facilities we needed, washing machine, cooker, hob fridge freezer and dishwasher. Not many channels on the tv and no instructions on when and wherevto put the rubbish out which would have been a plus

Très bon emplacement proche de tout, idéal pour découvrir la région. La gare principale à 5 min à pied ainsi que pour le ferry à destination de Intra. De nombreux restaurants à proximité. Il faut compter 10 min à pied pour atteindre la 2ème gare afin de se rendre à Luino. Appartement agréable avec très grande terrasse. Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour et y reviendrons probablement.

Laveno is a good location with transport links . Apartment was great with lovely view of lake from balcony although quite a lot of traffic noise. A trip on the bucket ride up mountain is a must, fantastic views.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Lage ist super, direkt am Lago, schöner Ausblick vom Balkon. Das Örtchen ist schön, zum Baden nicht so optimal. Den Schlüssel muss man in einem Office 5-10 zu Fuß abholen und wieder abgeben. Checkout 16:00 Uhr find ich persönlich sehr spät, Checkout 10:00 Uhr dafür zu früh. Die Wohnung an sich kann man noch etwas liebevoller gestalten, sie ist sehr „clean“ und nicht so wohnlich gestaltet, wenig Deko. Vorallem der Balkon hätte sehr viel Potential mit dem Ausblick. Leider stehen hier nur ein Tisch und Stühle und eine vertrocknete Pflanze.

Great location 5th floor with beautiful views from a big balcony to the city and Lago Maggiore. The problem was the communication with " Fransesca". She never answered to our e-mails or sms's or airbnb messages. We had a problem with toilet bench joint which was not repaired or fixed during our stay even we reported the problem during the first day.

Très bon emplacement proche de tout, idéal pour découvrir la région. La gare principale à 5 min à pied ainsi que pour le ferry à destination de Intra. De nombreux restaurants à proximité. Il faut compter 10 min à pied pour atteindre la 2ème gare afin de se rendre à Luino. Appartement agréable avec très grande terrasse. Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour et y reviendrons probablement.

Laveno is a good location with transport links . Apartment was great with lovely view of lake from balcony although quite a lot of traffic noise. A trip on the bucket ride up mountain is a must, fantastic views.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Lage ist super, direkt am Lago, schöner Ausblick vom Balkon. Das Örtchen ist schön, zum Baden nicht so optimal. Den Schlüssel muss man in einem Office 5-10 zu Fuß abholen und wieder abgeben. Checkout 16:00 Uhr find ich persönlich sehr spät, Checkout 10:00 Uhr dafür zu früh. Die Wohnung an sich kann man noch etwas liebevoller gestalten, sie ist sehr „clean“ und nicht so wohnlich gestaltet, wenig Deko. Vorallem der Balkon hätte sehr viel Potential mit dem Ausblick. Leider stehen hier nur ein Tisch und Stühle und eine vertrocknete Pflanze.

Prima appartement met heerlijk balkon. In centrum, dus dicht bij voorzieningen, maar met name in het weekend erg veel lawaai. Jammer dat de communicatie met de verhuurder wat stroef verliep.

Great location 5th floor with beautiful views from a big balcony to the city and Lago Maggiore. The problem was the communication with " Fransesca". She never answered to our e-mails or sms's or airbnb messages. We had a problem with toilet bench joint which was not repaired or fixed during our stay even we reported the problem during the first day.
