The setting and neighborhood are spectacular. The home is very sweet, warm and welcoming. Two suggestions come to mind: make sure guests know that the stairs are more like a ladder than stairs. Also, the kitchen could use some help. Terrible knives and nothing at all except salt and pepper. Some coffee, tea, oil, sugar, just a few basics would be very helpful.

Good location. Spacious apartment and well equipped. A couple of things to be aware of: 1. The stairs up to the two bedrooms are quite steep and when descending you have to face the stairs and hold onto a handrail. Maybe not suitable for young children or elderly people? 2, The area in the lounge that is directly above the sofa is really not accessible as the ladder on the wall is not easy or safe to use. Otherwise a very nice place to stay !

L’appartement et l’endroit sont super et merveilleux. Mon expérience: - Arrivé en plein tempête de neige ce qui rendu notre arrivée un peu compliqué ( pas de parking privé, neige couverts tout les repères donnés par le hôte)… mais j’imagine que en temps normal on aura pas eu ces difficultés => Suggestions: plus d’accompagnement des locataires dans les tempêtes et conditions météo difficiles - endroit près de centre ville Chamonix, y’a des stations de ski juste à côté ( station de ski pour les débutants comme moi ) - la vue de l’appartement est impressionnante et donne envie de rester à la maison pour l’admirer - la ville est tres sympa avec disponibilité de tout les commerces nécessaires

Das Willkommenspaket war super! Service vor Ort sehr freundlich! Objekt war sehr schön, sehr gute Lage und top-Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Schwierig ist die Steuerung der diversen Elektroheizungen. Es wäre sinnvoll, eine Beschreibung zur Nutzung dieser Heizkörper prominent auszulegen.

Amazing chalet!!! You have a gorgeous view of Mont Blanc from the garden which gives you a private space to enjoy the views and stars. Very cosy and cute interior, with new bathroom and well stocked kitchen! Would definitely recommend!!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le chalet situé à Argentière, petit village typique et très vivant Le chalet est équipé de tout le confort souhaité : Cuisine très bien équipée, salle de bain neuve, propreté impeccable, lits confortables, salon donnant sur un petit jardin plein sud avec vue imprenable sur l’aiguille du midi Dans l’entrée un espace pour les chaussures très pratique aussi bien pour l’été que l’hiver Une remarque particulière pour l’attention de notre hôte Nous avions un panier garni de produits locaux C’est un geste assez rare et nous l’avons grandement apprécié Bravo Nous avons passé un excellent séjour Je recommande vivement ce logement

The keys were collected from a key box about 10 mins walk from the property. The property is well located. There is a cafe almost next door and less than a minute walk away is a very good supermarket, a few bars, restaurants and ski hire shops etc. The property has a lounge on your left as you enter while on your right is the dining room, kitchen, toilet and shower room. Up a steep flight of stairs (probably unsuitable for children and older folk (?) are two bedrooms with plenty of storage space.. When descending you have to do so backwards, facing the stairs. I've attached photos. The lounge has a strange area high up above the sofa. It too has a sofa and bookcase. On the wall is a ladder. Very difficult to ascend but I did so to take a photo. I wouldn't bother going up there. The height is very restrictive, and awkward to descend. There is a large TV on the wall along with a multitude of remote controls. I couldn't get any channels to work but did manage to connect my laptop via an HDMI cable to watch films. It would be useful if clear instructions were left in case anyone wants to use it. The kitchen is well equipped - I've never seen so much cutlery in my life ! No kitchen towel was available but Happy Rentals provided one for drying of plates. The microwave was ok but seemed difficult to actually set a precise heating time, but somehow we managed. The shower room is good although the wall heater didn't work at all so towels were dried by hanging up elsewhere. It's less than a 10 min walk to the Argentiere railway station. Train use is included on a lift pass, BUT you also need to get a Carte d'hote (Chamonix guest card) which your rental company can arrange or the local tourist office, but the latter will need proof of your rental agreement. An inspector on the train will ask for the card but no payment is taken. The Les Grands Montets lift station is a few mins further along the road past the rail station.

L'appartement est assez grand (salon- grande cuisine- 2 chambres) Les chambres ne sont pas hyper bien insonorisées mais pour un WE au ski ou vous vous couchez bien fatigué de la journée c'est top. La literie est très confortable. L'appartement est idéalement situé tout proche du superU de la boulangerie,des restaurant-bars et de l’arrêt de bus pour se rendre aux domaines skiables. L'escalier est un peu difficle en pleine nuit à la descente mais on y arrive. Pour mon prochain séjour à Chamonix j'essayerai de reprendre le même appartement !!!

This is a great space for two people, close to supermarkets/restaurants and ski bus for travel to lifts. The house is well kitted and warm for your stay. Helpful to know that the bedrooms are reached by a very steep stair (ladder really) so could be challenging for some people to get luggage up or getting to the downstairs loo overnight - but taking that into account this is still a great place.

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche ! Die Wohnung ist gut gelegen und gemütlich. Man kann super wandern und es gibt Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, die fußläufig zu erreichen sind. Wir haben uns alle (4 Erwachsene + 1 Kind) sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation war stets unkompliziert. Ich habe immer sehr schnell eine Antwort erhalten. Der Check in und Check out waren sehr unkompliziert. Vielen Dank für die tolle Unterkunft !

Die Lage des Appartements war für uns genau richtig. In der Küche war alles vorhanden, bis auf die in der Anzeige gesehene Kaffeemaschine, diese wurde durch eine Brühmaschine wohl ausgetauscht. Was unbedingt erwähnt werden sollte, ist die sehr, sehr steile Treppe (Leiter) zu den beiden Schlafräumen, welche für ältere Menschen nicht erreichbar sind!!! Ansonsten war alles sehr gut für uns DREI.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour : chalet dans un environnement paisible, vue agréable pour pique-niquer dans le jardin, petits commerces à proximité, facilité d'accès aux lignes de bus pour accéder aux pistes. Comme mentionné dans l'annonce, l'escalier est très pentu donc pas hyper "secure" avec des enfants en bas âge.

The apartment is charming with nice mountain decoration, in the quaint old village of Argentière. The view from the living room is stunning. Very convenient location. 2 min walk to supermarket and restaurants, 3 min walk to the free bus stop to go to ski resorts, 13 min to walk to the slopes of Les Grands Montets. The living room and kitchen/dining area are nice and you will have everything you need to enjoy your stay. The living room and kitchen/dining area are separated by the entryway, so they are not communicating directly. The big downside of this apartment are the stairs (the 2 bedrooms are upstairs and there is no bathroom upstairs). They are very very steep. We came with my 68 years old parents and our 10 months old baby. It was quite stressful to go down the stairs (especially in the middle of the night or with a baby in your arms). The communication was not always smooth. The Airbnb host doesn’t have the answers to all the questions, they tell you to contact the agency.

Sehr schöne Wohnung inmitten der Berge. Fernab vom Ski Tourismus, sehr idyllisch. Nahe zum Mont Blanc. Leider hatten wir nur schlechtes Wetter, aber die Wohnung ist schön gemütlich gewesen. Sie ist vollkommen ausgestattet mit Fondue, Raclette, Geschirr etc. Sehr gut! Das Bad und das Bett waren sehr sauber. Die Küche leider nur grob gesäubert. Schmutziges Geschirr / Besteck, Brotkrümel von den Vormietern und auch EssensKrümel in Fensterrahmen,… Wir haben das Geschirr dann durch die Spülmaschine gejagt- und alles war sauber. Auch altes benutztes Rasierzeug im Bad war etwas unangenehm. Boden war aber gut gereinigt. Es war sehr kühl, aber fast alle Heizungen gingen. Wer will kann Holz mitbringen und dort den Kamin anschmeißen. Wlan Passwort gab es ohne Probleme auf Nachfrage. Die Kommunikation bei Problemen war sehr schnell und gut. In der Nähe (5min zu Fuß- an der Hauptstraße) eine großartige Boulangerie. Für schöne Wanderungen und ca 15 nach chamonix zum Ski fahren wer mag.
