Locatie: Stresa ligt aan de oevers van de Borromeïsche Golf, kijkt uit over Isola Bella en is een van de populairste badplaatsen aan het Lago Maggiore. Een van de belangrijkste attracties van de stad zijn de Borromeïsche eilanden, een groep pittoreske eilanden vlak voor de kust: Isola Bella, Isola Madre en Isola dei Pescatori. Deze eilanden staan bekend om hun weelderige paleizen, goed onderhouden tuinen en fascinerende schoonheid. Bezoekers kunnen een van de veerboten nemen in de haven (op 5 minuten lopen) om de eilanden te verkennen en zich onder te dompelen in hun rijke geschiedenis. Het prachtige wandelgebied Passeggiata Lungo Lago ligt op loopafstand en het beroemde Ortameer ligt op een half uur rijden. Stresa is ook een toegangspoort tot de schilderachtige landschappen van de Italiaanse Alpen. De nabijgelegen berg Mottarone biedt een panoramisch uitzicht op het Lago Maggiore en de omgeving. Bezoekers kunnen met een kabelbaan naar de top gaan en daar wandelen, skiën of gewoon genieten van het adembenemende uitzicht. Voor golfers ligt Golf Club Alpino di Stresa op 13 minuten rijden en voor natuurliefhebbers liggen de prachtige villa's van Stresa, waaronder Park Villa Pallavicino, vlakbij en zijn ze gemakkelijk te voet bereikbaar. De dichtstbijzijnde internationale luchthaven is Milaan Malpensa, op ongeveer 50 minuten rijden van de accommodatie.

I stayed in this apartment for 6 nights and it was a lovely stay. The place is clean and as shown in the photos. We didn't spend a lot of time in as we were busy sightseeing most of the days but it was great as a base and somewhere comfortable to return to at night. Thank you!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Stresa. L'appartement est très agréable et spacieux pour 2 couples , idéalement situé en centre ville permettant de rejoindre les commerces et l'embarcadère en 2 mn à pied. Une petite attention de l'hôte nous attendait à l'arrivée et à été très appréciée !

Very nice place and very attentive staff always available to answer any questions. Location is great with everything within walking distance. Kitchen could have been better equipped with basics, salt/pepper, oil, etc. and an oven would be a nice addition. We didn't hear noise from nearby bar/club, but on the last morning were awoken at 7:00 am by noisy neighbors. Overall a great place, definitely recommended and we would book again.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Wohnung liegt perfekt, man erreicht den schönen Lago Maggiore in wenigen Gehminuten. Auch die Innenstadt ist in unmittelbarer Nähe und wartet mit zahlreichen Restaurants, Eisdielen und Geschäften auf Besucher. Ein Strandbad ist zu empfehlen wenn man in Blickrichtung See ca. 10min nach rechts läuft. Die Wohnung selbst hat 2 Schlafzimmer mit sehr gemütlichen Betten und ist sehr sauber. Es gibt alles was man braucht: Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Toilettenpapier. Auch ein kleines Set mit Spülmittel, Schwamm, usw. liegt bereit. Vielen Dank für die gute Gastfreundschaft/Organisation

Wir fanden die Lage des Appartements super. In ein paar Minuten ist man gleich in der Stadt mit zahlreichen Restaurants & Geschäften. Toll. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Parkplatz und fanden gleich einen am Marktplatz. Ansonsten sieht man immer wieder Autos, die auf Parkplatzsuche sind. Es gibt noch an der Hauptstraße Parkplätze und an den Seitenstraßen. Das Appartement war schnell zu erreichen und wie auf den Fotos abgebildet. Klimaanlage ist leider nicht vorhanden, dafür Lüfter! Das Bad ist schmal aber man kann sich arrangieren. Ausreichend Handtücher sind vorhanden. Die Betten war sehr bequem. In der Küche fehlte uns ein kleines scharfes Messer für Obst und normale Kaffeetassen. Es gab nur Teetassen und Gläser. Was komisch war, den Mülll musste man selber an die Straße stellen… jeden Tag ist was anderes dran… Ansonsten Klare Weiterempfehlung.

Perfect location and great price for a getaway in Stresa. The “king” beds are just 2 twin beds pushed together, but that was no problem. Check in instructions were clear, and check out was a breeze. Really enjoyed our stay here! Would definitely return.

Lovely apartment good living space. Unfortunately there is a bar in the base of a house across the garden from the apartment that is open until 2am very noisy and not mentioned in the property location details which promote ‘live like a local in a quiet residential area’ . The shower is very small but functional. The kitchen utensils are basic but functional. With only one couch I recommend the addition of another couch or arm chair as the one in situ is not adequate for 4 adults perfect for two. Contact with happy rentals was great very good communication and help with luggage post checkout. All comms on booking and after very good I would just suggest that it’s made clearer on Booking.com that you will be dealing with another agency.

Hentet nøkkelen to kvartal fra der leiligheten ligger. Enkelt å finne veien og sentral beliggenhet. Det var litt dårlig rengjort når vi ankom leiligheten, men eier sendte renholdere med en gang og ordnet opp på dagen. Ikke airconditon, som var en stor minus på sommeren når det ble altfor varmt i leiligheten

Je viens d’y passer 4 nuits. Les 2 premières nuits ont été très difficiles, on a failli partir : - canicule - 30 degrés dans l’appartement, impossible de le rafraîchir, malgré les ventilateurs - pas d’air - et le bruit du bar juste en-dessous… Les 2 nuits suivantes ont été plus supportables mais néanmoins pas évidentes Sinon l’appartement était conforme à la description, bien placé, en centre-ville. Le parking public n’est pas loin. On ne peut pas s’y garer le jeudi soir / vendredi matin. Le logement manquait un peu de matériel de cuisine / vaisselle / etc. Et la dernière nuit il y a eu de nouveaux locataires au-dessus, dont un petit enfant qui passait son temps à courir partout… appartement très sonore, on entendait tout

Perfect location and great price for a getaway in Stresa. The “king” beds are just 2 twin beds pushed together, but that was no problem. Check in instructions were clear, and check out was a breeze. Really enjoyed our stay here! Would definitely return.

The location was brilliant, a very short walk to the centre of the town and to the lake. The kitchen is super basically equipped but that worked for us as we didn't want to cook there. beds were very comfy!

Lovely apartment good living space. Unfortunately there is a bar in the base of a house across the garden from the apartment that is open until 2am very noisy and not mentioned in the property location details which promote ‘live like a local in a quiet residential area’ . The shower is very small but functional. The kitchen utensils are basic but functional. With only one couch I recommend the addition of another couch or arm chair as the one in situ is not adequate for 4 adults perfect for two. Contact with happy rentals was great very good communication and help with luggage post checkout. All comms on booking and after very good I would just suggest that it’s made clearer on Booking.com that you will be dealing with another agency.

Hentet nøkkelen to kvartal fra der leiligheten ligger. Enkelt å finne veien og sentral beliggenhet. Det var litt dårlig rengjort når vi ankom leiligheten, men eier sendte renholdere med en gang og ordnet opp på dagen. Ikke airconditon, som var en stor minus på sommeren når det ble altfor varmt i leiligheten

Appartamento pulito, essenziale, ma dotato di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole. Posizione ottima, centrale, e comunque silenziosa. Proprietario attento, intervenuto immediatamente per un piccolo problema subito risolto.

Je viens d’y passer 4 nuits. Les 2 premières nuits ont été très difficiles, on a failli partir : - canicule - 30 degrés dans l’appartement, impossible de le rafraîchir, malgré les ventilateurs - pas d’air - et le bruit du bar juste en-dessous… Les 2 nuits suivantes ont été plus supportables mais néanmoins pas évidentes Sinon l’appartement était conforme à la description, bien placé, en centre-ville. Le parking public n’est pas loin. On ne peut pas s’y garer le jeudi soir / vendredi matin. Le logement manquait un peu de matériel de cuisine / vaisselle / etc. Et la dernière nuit il y a eu de nouveaux locataires au-dessus, dont un petit enfant qui passait son temps à courir partout… appartement très sonore, on entendait tout

Great location in Stresa. Adequate apartment but managed by rental agency and so lack personal touches and so amenities. Only provided one toilet roll for a three night visit!
