Ga na een enerverende dag op de piste naar het historische centrum, op slechts 10 minuten wandelen, om de charmante geplaveide straatjes en historische bezienswaardigheden zoals de kerk van San Giovanni Battista, talloze restaurants, cafés en bars te verkennen. Als je boodschappen moet doen, is de dichtstbijzijnde winkel op slechts 5 minuten lopen. Liefhebbers van het buitenleven kunnen met de auto in 15 minuten het adembenemende Orfu-meer bereiken, en in 40 minuten rijden de wandelingen in de Val di Susa, met adembenemende uitzichten op de bergen. Voor daguitstapjes kun je de bruisende stad Turijn verkennen, op 90 minuten rijden, of naar het nabijgelegen Montgenèvre in Frankrijk gaan, waar je nog meer skimogelijkheden hebt. Soggiorno di quattro notti molto apprezzato. Le indicazioni per accedere all’alloggio sono state semplici da seguire. Utile il posto auto coperto ma fino ad un certo punto, purtroppo lo spazio è stretto e abbiamo preferito lasciare l’auto parcheggiata negli spazi esterni appositi. L’appartamento, sebbene dalle dimensioni ristrette, è organizzato in ogni minimo dettaglio, per soddisfare qualsiasi tipo di esigenza. Apprezzata la lavastoviglie, peccato per la macchina del caffè che perdeva acqua e abbiamo preferito utilizzare la moca. L’ambiente dove si trova il condominio si presenta molto tranquillo e a pochi passi dal centro di Sauze d’Oulx. Nel complesso è stata un’esperienza assolutamente positiva. Ne terremo sicuramente di conto per la prossima volta.

Just a short walk from village centre, quiet location. Apartment had excellent range of cooking equipment, good fridge freezer. Bunk beds large enough for adults and comfy. Nice bathroom which has been modernised, shower had good pressure. Host was really helpful

It was a pleasant place for a winter stay for 6 people. Though the heating system is not too powerful: it is worth packing a pair of slippers because of the coldish floor, and you have to decide if you want to heat the water in the kitchen or the bathroom (there is a switch for this purpose). The place is well-equipped with tools. As for the consumables, you have to bring almost everything, but you get a small starter pack with a piece of toilet paper roll, 30ml shampoo, 30ml shower gel, one dishwasher capsule, one soap, dishwashing liquid, salt, and sugar. We found no detergent for the washing machine. It would have been nice if they had provided a detailed description of the consumables available at the accommodation beforehand. The local groceries are a bit pricey — sometimes twice as much as, for example, at an Aldi or Lidl. There are many cool DVDs; unfortunately, we did not find the remote control for the DVD player. The TV has no Wi-Fi access but works fine.
