The historic upper town features landmarks such as St. Mark's Church with its colourful tiled roof, Lotrščak Tower and the Zagreb Cathedral. For nature lovers, Maksimir Park, the oldest public park in Zagreb, is a 10-minute drive from the property offering a peaceful retreat with lakes, walking paths and a zoo. Visitors can also visit Jarun Lake (a 30-minute drive) for water sports, cycling and jogging, with beaches and cafes to enjoy during the summer months. The medieval Medvedgrad Fortress, which offers panoramic views of the city is a 20-minute drive. Located on the southern slopes of the Medvednica mountain this is a great spot for a short hike. Other popular excursions include a trip to the charming town of Samobor (a 30-minute drive) which is known for its medieval architecture, cobblestone streets and the picturesque Gradna River. Location was top. 20 mins walk from everything you want to see: museums, restaurants and Parks. Grocery can be done in the same street and breakfast cafés are also easy to find if you look on google maps.

So close to Zagreb Glavni Kolod (station), which was great as we arrived late at night. Pin number access to several doors felt safe. Super clean and comfortable. Balcony was a bonus as was the washing machine!! Close walk to central square. Kitchen and fridge worked well.
