This area also incorporates the kitchen which is equipped with; a small breakfast bar, an induction hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a coffee machine and a fridge freezer. The town is known for its temperate climate, exotic gardens and beautiful beaches. Both the Plage du Casino beach and the beautiful Jardins Biovès are less than a 10-minute walk from the front door and there are another 5 beaches and 4 gardens all less than a 10-minute drive away. Guests will also find several food stores and two small supermarkets nearby together with various restaurants and eateries. For the best local produce, head to the covered market, Le Marché des Halles, on Quai de Monleon (a 20-minute walk along the seafront). Every day of the week you can find the finest regional food including cheese, fish and charcuteries. Within the narrow, cobbled streets of The Old Town (a 6-minute drive / 22-minute walk), visitors will find the Baroque Basilica of St Michel, the Jean Cocteau Museum and as you reach the seafront the Old Port. In February the unique Fête du Citron celebrates Menton’s renowned citrus fruits. The closest international airport is Nice Airport (NCE), a 40-minute drive from the accommodation.
