The ferry to Valetta leaves from Birgu Harbour (a 15-minute walk) where guests will also find numerous bars and restaurants. Malta's typical Mediterranean climate enjoys an average of 5 to 6 hours of sunshine a day in mid-winter and 12 hours in summer. Its remarkably mild winters and deep blue skies make it an ideal place for long walks in the lush countryside.
