The town has been a popular holiday destination for over a century and with good reason. It is famous for its elegant buildings, seafront promenade, picturesque Medieval centre and exceptionally mild climate. The weekly market (Thursday mornings) takes place on the Lungomare Argentina. Get there early for the freshest local ingredients. The larger town of Ventimiglia is just 10 minutes away. Here visitors can explore its medieval Old Town and enjoy delicious food at the wide range of restaurants and cafés. Ventimiglia’s famous weekly market is every Friday. Here you can find everything from clothes to homewares. Nice airport is 52 minutes away and Genova City Airport is 1 hour, 50 minutes. If you are coming by rail then Bordighera station is 6 minutes.
