It makes the ideal holiday base for a family or friends who want to enjoy Lake Garda and its stunning surroundings. On the ground floor, with a shaded terrace accessed from the sitting area, the newly refurbished apartment consists of an L-shaped living area, with a sofa, flat-screen TV and dining table. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and a coffee machine. Guests can enjoy meals al fresco on the terrace which is furnished with a dining table and chairs. There are also sun loungers for relaxing in private. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a double bed, drawers and a large wardrobe. Bedroom 2: The second bedroom has 1 single bed with a 2nd pull-out single bed, a laptop-friendly work-station and a wardrobe. Extra: The sofa in the living area converts into a comfortable single bed. Bathroom The tiled bathroom has a full bath with a shower, washbasin, bidet, WC and washing machine. Location The town of Toscolano Maderno is one of the most beautiful towns on Lake Garda. Its historical centre contains winding paved streets, lined with attractive boutiques and tempting cafés. It is packed with things to see. The apartment is ideally situated for many of the activities on offer. The port in Toscolano Maderno (8 minute drive) is a stop-off point for boats going all around the lake. On the water visitors can swim, fish, canoe, sail, windsurf and dive. Whilst on land, the lakefront is a glorious place to walk at any time of day. Away from the lake, there are hiking and mountain bike routes through scenic countryside. For self-catering, the weekly market, just a few minutes walk away, takes place every Thursday morning and provides the freshest produce and many local specialities to cook at home. Otherwise, there are supermarkets and other small shops less than 5 minutes away. Lovers of art and history can visit the famous "Vittoriale degli Italiani" (10 minutes) home of Gabriele D'Annunzio in Gardone Riviera and the new Salò museum called “MuSa” (18 minutes). The nearest airports are Verona Villafranca (1 hour 15 minutes drive) and Milan Bergamo (1 hour and 25 minute drive).
