The area around Nemesvita is known for its vineyards. Visitors can visit local wineries to learn about the region's viniculture and enjoy local wine-tasting tours. One of the region's most famous wineries, Laposa Birtok, is a 20-minute drive away and in Szent György-hegy visitors will find 6 different wineries including Gilvesy Winery which focuses on organic farming. Nearby Lake Balaton (the largest lake in Central Europe) also provides many opportunities for recreational activities including such as swimming, sunbathing boating and fishing. Szigliget and Midi Strand Beach are both approximately a 15-minute drive away.
