There is plenty to do nearby, with bars, cafés and restaurants to suit all budgets and ages. Visitors interested in exploring Greece’s ancient past should visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Olympia. The birthplace of the Olympic Games is 30 minutes away. There is also the Kostas Kotsanas Museum of Ancient Greek Technology in Katakolo (20 minutes drive). For self-catering there is a supermarket just 5 minutes drive and the town of Amaliada is a 10-minute drive from the apartment and has all the amenities you need, including a weekly market (Saturday) for the freshest local produce. The closest airport is Araxos Airport, a 45-minute drive away.
