Next to this is the kitchenette which is equipped with a cooker hob, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and fridge/freezer. Sleeping The attractive wrought iron double bed is adjacent to the seating area. French windows open out onto the private terrace. The sofa converts into a single bed. There is plenty to do nearby, with bars, cafés and restaurants to suit all budgets and ages. Visitors interested in exploring Greece’s ancient past should visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Olympia. The birthplace of the Olympic Games is 30 minutes away. There is also the Kostas Kotsanas Museum of Ancient Greek Technology in Katakolo (20 minutes drive). For self-catering there is a supermarket just 5 minutes drive and the town of Amaliada is a 10-minute drive from the apartment and has all the amenities you need, including a weekly market (Saturday) for the freshest local produce. The closest airport is Araxos Airport, a 45-minute drive away.
