This medieval village is known for its rich history, striking architecture and beautiful surrounding landscapes. The most prominent landmark, a 15th-century castle is situated across the street from the apartment and has been restored to house a museum, an art gallery and a cultural centre. The nearby Karst region is famous for its wine production and visitors can tour local wineries and enjoy wine-tasting sessions. Nearby wineries include; Vina Sanabor, Fedora Natural Wine Estate and SANTEI Organic Wines - all a 10-minute drive from the accommodation. The closest restaurant is a 1-minute walk from the accommodation and there is a supermarket an 8-minute drive away. Popular nearby excursions include a trip to the Lipica Stud Farm, the birthplace of the famous Lipizzaner horses (a 25-minute drive away) or a day out in the Vipava Valley (a 20-minute drive). Known for its scenic beauty and excellent vineyards this is a great place for wine tasting, cycling and exploring the countryside.
