A striking, contemporary penthouse, on the 5th floor (with lift) of a family-friendly residence, this apartment is a perfect holiday choice at any time of year. The apartment sleeps 5 people, and has been carefully equipped with everything guests might need during their stay. Tucked under the wooden eaves, the living room has double French windows opening onto a balcony with wonderful mountain views. There is a table and chairs on the balcony where guests can relax with a cup of coffee or an aperitif. In the main living area, there are stylish leather armchairs, a sofa, a coffee table and a flatscreen TV. The dining area has a table for 6 people. The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, oven, microwave, air fryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, Nespresso and coffee machines. Additionally, in the building, guests can enjoy total relaxation with shared amenities that include a heated indoor swimming pool and a gym. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The charming master bedroom, under the eaves, has a double bed, two gable windows, a flatscreen TV and a wardrobe. Bedroom 2: This second bedroom has 2 single beds, a wardrobe and an en suite bathroom. Extra: The sofa in the sitting room converts into a comfortable single bed. Bathrooms Bathroom 1: En suite to the second bedroom, this bathroom has a shower and a basin. Bathroom 2: This classic, tiled bathroom has a full bath with shower, basin and W.C. Location The village of Vallorcine is surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery, and the nearby slopes are suitable for skiers of all levels. The apartment is a short walk from the ski lifts and the ski slopes. For a gentler alternative, there are 10km of cross-country skiing trails, which will suit beginners and experts alike. During the summer months, the valley is full of fun activities: stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, climbing, tennis, golf and horse riding. For the more adventurous, there are paragliding centres close by. Children and adults will enjoy the trek through the forest to the Berard waterfall or the Grotte A Farinet cave. All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep, as Vallorcine railway station is just a 2-minute walk from the residence. The Swiss border is a four-minute drive from the village, and a minute beyond that is the Parc Vallée du Trient, with its breathtaking views and treks. The famous Montreux Jazz Festival, on the shores of Lake Geneva, takes place in early July, and is just 1 hour away. Vallorcine has several restaurants and cafés which cater to various ages and budgets. For self-catering, there is a weekly market (every Sunday morning) in Argentière (10-minute drive) Geneva Airport is a 1-hour 30-minute drive away. Due to the unique topography, location, and weather conditions in the Mont Blanc Valley, internet connectivity may be unreliable.

The host is an agency, and communication was excellent — clear instructions and very responsive. The building has a garage, which was convenient. We really enjoyed our stay. The children loved the swimming pool, which felt almost private since there were very few people in September. There was no hammam, but a sauna was available. The gym equipment was quite old and several machines were out of order, but overall we had a very nice and relaxing weekend.

Excellent séjour dans ce bel appartement. Nous avons apprécié le calme, le cadre (génial de pouvoir manger sur le balcon !), ainsi que les infrastructures proposées dans la résidence :piscine, sauna.... Le parking privé est un plus. Nous avons également apprécié le calme de ce petit village et la possibilité de se rendre à chamonix ou en Suisse avec le train à proximité. Nous reviendrons, c est certain !

Отличное жилье, комфортное, приятная атмосфера. Прекрасный вид. Близкое Расположение до подъемников, отдельное спасибо за карточки проезда, мы катались в Шамони и в Аржентьер несколько раз. Вокзал прям в 3 минутах ходьбы. Единственный минус, с которым мы столкнулись, это раклетница. Она была, но у неё оказалась швейцарская вилка. Не было для неё адаптера. Если уж ставить аппаратуру, было бы классно мочь ей воспользоваться. А так все понравилось!

The accommodation was very clean and had everything you need. It is a very nice and cozy apartment. The only thing we didn't like is that it was very close to the road and you could hear the cars at all hours of the day because it is a second floor. Logement très bien situé, très propre, bien équipé et proche de la gare de Vallorcine (gros avantage). Quelques petits détails sont à revoir : terrasse en bois non entretenue (il y a de la mousse et elle colle), piscine non chauffée (en panne lors de notre sejour), salle de sport à moitié fonctionnelle (rameur de la photo absent, tapis de course en panne). Nous vous avons signalé ces désagréments à notre 2ème jour de vacances et avons reçus la veille de notre départ une simple copie d'écran d'un mail. Il y a un manque de communication, c'est dommage.
