Apartament godny polecenia! Wyposażenie super, było wszystko co może być potrzebne. Łóżko wygodne, olbrzymie. Widok z balkonu jest niesamowity. Warto się wspinać ponad miasto żeby podziwiać taką panoramę. Bardzo dobre wskazówki od właścicieli jak dotrzeć na miejsce. Jeśli idziesz skrótem (nie drogą tylko pomiędzy budynkami) dotarliśmy na miejsce w niecałe 20minut. Jest stromo ale nikogo nie powinno to dziwić zważając że to Alpy. Ze wszystkich miasteczek najbardziej podobała nam się właśnie Varenna, którą można podziwiać z balkonu. Podsumowując: widok 10/10, wygodnie, bezproblemowo, ogrzewanie działa. Dziękujemy za miłą niespodziankę :) Polecam!

Stay for three nights. Definitely a hike to get to the place but took the bus and taxi up a few times. Everyone knew where it was. Town had a small supermarket which was great. Lots of small restaurants nearby.

Bardzo miły apartament zlokalizowany w świetnej okolicy. Opis zgodny z rzeczywistością. Dodatkowo, czego nie zamieszczono w informacji, w sypialni jest również balkon z widokiem na jezioro, co jest dużym atutem. Wyposażenie wystarczające na 4 osoby. Pościel, kołdry i poduszki oraz ręczniki bardzo czyste. Łazienka wystarczająca na 4 osoby. Sprawna pralka, ogrzewanie. Do miejscowości Varenna można dostać się pieszo w 15 minut. Mimo, że apartament usytuowany jest dość wysoko, to z miasteczka można do niego wrócić w 20-25 minut pieszo (skróty znacznie ułatwiają wędrówkę). Dzięki takiej lokalizacji widok z balkonu jest wspaniały i zapiera dech w piersiach. Miejsce doskonałe na wypady piesze z kijkami. Tuż za domem są ścieżki turystyczne. Szybko można przejść do miasteczka Perledo, które pamięta historię z XIII wieku. Z balkonu widać twierdzę, którą warto odwiedzić - wstęp to 5 euro za osobę. Z miasteczka Varenna można dostać się koleją do Mediolanu ( pociągi odchodzą średnio co godzinę) a promami można dostać się do Bellaggio i Menaggio ( promy kursują często w różnych godzinach i warto dopytać obsługę portu o godzinę , bo często jest ona inna niż na rozkładzie). Sama Varenna i Bellagio to przykłady uroczej, włoskiej architektury. Warto przespacerować się tymi pięknymi , klimatycznymi uliczkami. Przyroda zachwyca.

Amazing views, spacious space. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located on a steep hill so if you are walking it’s a good exercise. We had a car but chose to walk and enjoyed it. The town of Varenna is little less touristy in comparison to Bellagio which is exactly what we wanted. Overall, perfect property and reasonably priced.

We ADORE the view from this place and found it very comfortable overall (although we were there during a heat wave and would have loved air conditioning -- or a fan that worked better than the one provided, which was pretty poor). We also enjoyed the pool each day and appreciated the washing machine. We WILL be back! :)

July 2016 We had an absolutely fabulous time in the apartment!! It was just what we needed after a busy first week touring Milan, Venice & Bardi. My partner has already written a review on trip advisor and below is what he has written, we would appreciate it being kept as anonymous or just use our first names. We gave the apartment 5*. “What a fantastic apartment! The directions to the property along with accessing the keys was very thorough and no wrong turns were taken!. We arrived to a welcome surprise of a bottle of wine. Opening the shutters to the view across the lake was stunning. We had a wonderful 6 days just relaxing with stunning tranquil views and wish we didn’t have to leave. The complex had a nice clean pool with plenty of sun loungers. The apartment was nicely decorated and spotless. The apartment is a bit of a trek from Varena so a car is needed, with a supermarket 10minutes away in Bellano. It was idyllic eating a lovely meal with a glass of wine on the balcony. We really could of stayed longer! Beautiful spot, but difficult to access without a rental car. We were travelling on foot/train/bus and we had to rely solely on the 2 or 3 taxis in the township. The walk was ok downhill, but very arduous going back (We're in our 70's). We chose Varenna as it much more affordable than Ballagio, and the views are simply breathtaking. With a car, this would have been perfect, but we also found that the locals were very accommodating and actually took us home in their own vehicles a few times...that's why we love Italy! The room itself was adequate, but the hosts were very skimpy with allocating one dishwasher pellet, one washing machine tablet and 2 small rolls of toilet paper for a couple staying 4 nights. When we requested more, they begrudgingly dropped off one more of each at the door. The instructions to the apartment were clear up to the point of reaching the carpark, but then even with a local resident's help it took us 30 minutes to locate the key box. All-in-all, a nice stay but the view and clean night air, and the lovely locals in Perledo made it memorable.

Une vue superbe sur le lac, un petit cadeau à l’arrivée et une piscine géniale pour les enfants. Logement situé sur les hauteurs (très clairement indiqué dans l’annonce) mais accessible depuis Varenna à pied si un peu de marche ne vous fait pas peur. Linge de maison impeccable. Par contre, même si conforme à la description en terme d’agencement et de matériels, l’appartement est en mauvais état (mur qui s’effrite ou avec de la moisissure, volet du salon qui ne ferme pas, canapé très très sale ainsi que le cadre de lit, présence de fourmis).

Le logement est super, vue exceptionnelle, propre, tout le nécessaire. En revanche, grosse déception à la fin car nous avons oubliée une veste de marque dans le logement qui a sans doute été volée car l’équipe Abritel me dit ne pas l’avoir trouvé. Mise à part ça, je recommande pour le logement qui est très qualitatif.

A spacious apartment with stunning views over Varenna and Lake Como. Well appointed and stocked with cutlery, utensils and so on , and the welcome pack was a nice touch. The apartment is a little bit showing some wear and tear with a few cracked tiles. The shower sometimes struggled to get warm and the drain needed a good clean. Main issue we had was with parking. The apartment is listed as having parking which was a must for us S we were on a multi week tour using a rental car. On receiving the pre checkin info it is disclosed that the parking is first come first serve, and not guaranteed. In several occasions returning to the apartment the parking was full, and we had to park on the narrow road leading to the complex, and this area was also often full. On a couple of occasions we luckily obtained the last spot but saw other guests in the complex unable to park due to unavailability of space. With no other parking available near to the complex this could have been an issue. The pool area was slightly disappointing, it was at the back of the complex and most of the view is of the apartments, rather than the lake. Maintenance was also a little lacking as the pool shower had a wasp nest in the drain, so clearly hadn’t been used for some time. Overall a nice apartment with a great view and well located for Varenna, but the lack of guaranteed parking was disappointing.

Location was perfect t for us - away from the crowds of Varenna but you do need a car or be willing to walk up/ down the hill (25 mins and there are stairs so you don’t need to walk too much on the road). For the price would’ve expected things like wifi access to be detailed in the apartment (we had to ring the hosts to get the password) and some basic cooking supplies for the very well equipped kitchen like salt, pepper, olive oil. Really enjoyed our stay and the views from Apartment 7.

It was a nice but not clean appartement, with a beautiful view over the lake. For older or disabled people you have to know that the only way to arrive the appartement is a stair with 52 steps!!!

Välplanerad lägenhet med allt man kan tänkas behöva. Magisk utsikt! Barnen gillade poolen men den skulle behöva fräschas upp, annars var allt toppen. Varenna är en liten pärla som absolut kan rekommenderas.

We had a very enjoyable stay in Vista d'Oro. The apartment was lovely and the view from the balcony is out of this world! The whole Lake Como area is beautiful. A big thank you to Viviana who helped me book a wonderful evening out: a water taxi with aperitifs and lovely dinner at Alla Darsena di Loppia. The places we most enjoyed visiting were: - Orrido di Bellano. We were surprised that it is not mentioned more in the guidebooks - Villa Monastero - Villa Balbianello - Bellagio - Abbaza di Piona We look forward to visiting the area again in the future.

Many thansk for all your help. We had a great holiday in Lake Como. The apartment was fantastic and very well equipped. My only comment would be that the lack of air conditioning was disappointing as the nights were hot but otherwise we were delighted with it. I was also very impressed with the level of service from the whole team at happy holidays and how responsive everyone was in relation to all my questions - all in all I would rate the service excellent. In relation to Como, there were so many fab restaurants - we loved Varenna Cafe for casual coffees and people watching, My favourite restaurant was Il Cavatappi - simple restaurant, simple food but excellently executed. The setting of Ristorante La Vista is also spectacular - fab menu although we were slightly disappointed with some of the food but it could have been just bad choices, we also loved Osteria Quatro Pass (esp for seafood) and Borgovino. We were a little disappointed with the food at Ristorante Vecchia Varenna - very good food but portion size was tiny. Bar Il Molo is lovely by the lake for an after dinner drink at night and some nights they have live music. We hired a boat which is expensive but a real highlight. We did a local cookery course which was enjoyable but we were disappointed not to be involved in the cooking - sitting inside a dark restaurant for 6 hours on a beautiful day was not ideal but the food was excellent and our host was a lovely man. Belaggio we lovely - Menaggio less so. All in all we loved the area and we will be back.

As your new Agent in Denmark – with more than 35 years of experiences in the Travel Trade business, been travelling worldwide - I will be happy to give some feedback from our 10 days stay at Vista d`Oro Ulivo/apt. 7. • First of all my wife and I will praise the team for any assistance you have provided during the whole process and during our stay as well. Well done! • This was our first time at the Lake Como area, and it is indisputable that the whole area is very beautiful and offer many different types of experiences for guests, who like to explore the area on foot, on bikes, driving by car or by boat. You just have to make your choice. • Varenna is a very charming and romantic village, not too big and not too many tourists (e.g. compared to Bellagio). We had very good experiences in Ristorante Quatro Pass in Ristorante La Vista and in Ristorante Hotel du Lac – Varenna. And Varenna Caffè is very special. The Villa Monastero park is fantastic. We found the local Italian people very helpful and enthusiastic in whatever job they had to perform in (ferry boats, restaurants, shops etc.). • Off course we did visit Bellagio, Menaggio and Bellano as well, which is feeling very relaxing along the promenade and the very local atmosphere in the narrow shopping street. A visit in the Gorge of “Orrido” in Bellano is also interesting. • We also took the “big tour” to Como, which is also worth watching even if 2½ hours of sailing each way may be too many hours for some guests in order to walk around in the city of Como for less than 2 hours. But there are off course different options for that tour. • About the photos I have off course more than 800 photos and I will be please to send you some few, if I found them attractive for your marketing efforts. Vista d`Oro Ulivo / apt. 7 • This apartment meet our expectations and came up to HHH description on http://www.lakecomohomes.com/ • It is quite easy to find Vista d`Oro, however, it would be great, if there is a sign close to the road showing exactly where to go in and park for Ulivo, Palma and Orleandro too (?). We had to walk around a little, and other guests did the same in order to find the “entrance”. • The key system is brilliant. • In general the apartment standard is high and very spacious. Especially very well equipped in the kitchen (which is not quite normal in Tuscany, I can say). Perfect with dishwasher and washing machine. Also the furniture are good, however, some 2 smaller easy chair may be a good idea, especially if 4 people will stay. It will also make the apartment a little more comfortable / cozy, as it seems a little sterile. IKEA is a fantastic concept, but also limited in a way. • It was brilliant with the Bose docking system for IPOD and all the other Radio and TV equipment as well. • In the bedroom, it was perfect with a lot of hangers in the closet. The bed is ok too. However the bed cover is not useable during the night, if the temperature goes down a little. It is very synthetic and too hot to use (maybe it is not to use, but only for cover?). If the temperature goes down a little during the night, it is not sufficiently only to use a sheet. It would be nice to have a light blanket for the “colder” nights. • The terrace is unique – off course. Not so deep, which set a limitation for the size of the table and the chairs, understandable.

Firstly, we would like to thank you for choosing Vista d'Oro Ulivo Apt. 7 as your holiday home. Apartment 7 was perfect for our stay for my wife and I. It was nice that our building wasn’t that busy and so we had the pool to ourselves most days. Having milk and presecco waiting for us was a very nice touch and appreciated. Your directions and pictures were very helpful but you could consider actually giving gps coordinates for those of us that have garmin or gps on our cars. Having actual directions to the two grocery stores in Bellano would have been helpful – we found the Euro super but never did find the other one you refer to. We rented a powerboat from Denilo and when the weather turned into showers and potential thunderstorms we brought it back 2 hours early and it was no problem – the boat trip down the lake to Como and back was very enjoyable. The next day we visited Villa del Balbianello which was a highlight of the villas. The castle above Varenna was a small ruin but exceptional for photography. We really thoroughly enjoyed our time and your website and information package was informative and very helpful. We would certainly recommend your company and units to our friends. Actually, after my wife and I booked our unit , 4 of our friends ended up changing their holiday plans and booking the Marilena unit and joined us. I guess we should have said something and maybe got a bit of reduction on our unit – apparently they had a slightly reduced rate – not sure how that worked. Thank you for a great holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Varenna and our accommodations at Vista D'Oro Ulivo Apt. 7 were great. The views from the apartment were outstanding. We would certainly stay there again on our next visit to Lake Como and would recommend the apartment to our friends. We enjoyed taking the boats around the lake to the various towns and enjoyed visiting Villa Monastero, Villa Carlotta, Villa Balbianello, Villa Serbelloni Park and Villa Melzi, etc., etc. We enjoyed eating our dinners in Varenna down at the lake's edge. We had a little difficulty finding the apartment but that was because we had trouble finding Varenna. Your staff at Vista D'Oro Ulivo were extremely helpful. Thanks for making our first trip to Lake Como so memorable and enjoyable. Ciao!!!!!

El alojamiento tiene unas vistas espectaculares diría que inmejorables lo elegimos por eso y fue un gran acierto volvería a elegirlo, lo que pasa que está a 40 min del centro de Varenna con unas cuestas muy empinadas, tenemos un niño de dos años y menos mal que finalmente alquilamos coche porque sino hubiese sido un infierno llegar hasta el apartamento. Por otro lado la limpieza es muy mejorable, sobre todo las fundas de cojines y el tapizado de sofá.

La vue est juste exceptionnelle comme indiqué sur l'annonce , l'emplacement est idéale. L'accès est sportive car les routes sont très étroite. L'appartement est spacieux et bien agencé. Belle intention à notre arrivée nous avons été accueillis avec une bouteille de champagne. Très calme, la piscine parfaite.

das Objekt hat nicht unseren Ansprüchen genügt wegen vielen Mängeln haben wir die Wohnung bereits am Mi.15.5.24 verlassen den Schlüßel haben wir dem Redeinigungsdienst übergeben der gerade an das Objekt kam! ich bitte um eine Kulante Rückzahlung für die Resttage Do-Sa.

The view was amazing. Bed linen and towels were very clean. However the swimming pool was completely unusable - it had thick green grime around it which should have been stated when booking. The bathroom needed a good clean, the toilet was brown. There were stains on the sofa and the kitchen was dirty also. Really needs a good clean and the pool either needs cleaning or the advert needs to state that the pool is not usable.

Appartement très bien placé,vue magnifique en revanche l'appartement n'était pas très propre. Freezer endommagé, obligé de le dégivrer car la porte de ce dernier ne se fermait pas . De plus la douche était complètement bouchée ! Nous avons essayé de contacter l'agence pas de réponse. Donc nous avons joué les plombiers !
