Several picturesque trails such as the Bacini-Sentiero Paradiso and the Passeggiata del Canale can be reached in 5-10 minutes on foot. Additionally, just 10 minutes away is the ski pass office for Colomion, an excellent destination for snowboarding and spectacular alpine views. There is also a lot of history to explore in Bardonecchia: an 8-minute drive away is Fort Bramafam, a museum of the First and Second World Wars. But if guests want to take day trips, then Susa, located just 25 minutes away by car, is highly recommended for its ancient monuments such as the Arch of Augustus of Susa, the Susa Cathedral, Casa Forte Chianocco and the 'Novalesa Abbey. For more adventurous tourists, several rock climbing gyms are within a 10-20 minute drive. In the surrounding area, you can practice other activities such as horse riding, mountain biking and alpine walks. The nearest international airport is Turin, about a 70-minute drive from this holiday home in Bardonecchia.

I would highly recommend this apartment if you're looking for a spacious place that can sleep 3-4 people. The good - It's a 3 min drive from Campo Smith. I loved the fact there were a lot of parking spots available at all times. The apartment itself is exactly as it shows in the photos and is very well maintained. The heating was on, so it was nice and warm when we got in from the freezing cold. It also smelled very good! There were hot water and enough towels provided. What can slightly improve to make it perfect - There was no cooking oil or even pepper. There were also no paper towels. So get your own if you need these. The mattresses were either too hard or too soft and felt very springy (I'm 48 years old and weigh 75 kg). If you plan on cooking, be advised that the power will likely go out several times, sending you to the basement of the building to restore it. We were provided with 2 rolls of toilet paper (for 3 people for 5 days) and when I asked for more I got no reply.
