Villa Nella is a beautiful villa on the edge of the charming town of Sannicandro di Bari. Nella Apartment is on the first floor and one of 3 apartments in the house, sharing beautiful gardens and a swimming pool. It sleeps up to 6 people and makes a wonderful retreat for family or friends who want to explore Puglia or just relax in the sun. The apartment’s spacious and airy rooms are tastefully decorated with a combination of antique and contemporary pieces. The living room is furnished with 2 sofas, an open fireplace and an antique piano. Through an arched door, there is a kitchen/diner. This is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, Moka coffee machine and fridge/freezer. There is a dining table for 6 people and a flat-screen TV. The owners have spent as much attention on the gardens as they have on the interiors. There is a private terrace outside the entrance to the apartment where guests can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee in peace. Down in the garden is a large swimming pool, surrounded by a terrace furnished with sun loungers and armchairs. Elsewhere the garden has been planted with fruit and olive trees and other lush plants. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The master bedroom, has a double bed, a dressing table, a wardrobe and an en suite bathroom. Bedroom 2: The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a wardrobe. Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed. Bathrooms Bathroom 1: The en suite bathroom is appointed with a glass shower, basin, bidet and WC. Bathroom 2: The second bathroom has a shower, basin, bidet and WC. Sannicandro di Bari is known for its historic castle, impressive churches and noble palaces. Its weekly market takes place every Thursday morning. Here you can find the famous local figs, quinces, olive oil and sweet olives. The busy port city of Bari, the capital of Puglia, is just 20 minutes away. Two different areas of the city are worth exploring. Bari Vecchia (the old town) and the Murat. Wander through the narrow streets and try the delicious local food. The daily fish market on the elegant seafront (Lungomare) is where the fishermen sell their catch directly from their boats. For trips to the coast, Polignano a Mare (35 minutes) offers excellent snorkelling and Monopoli (45 minutes) is known for its charming winding whitewashed streets and ancient harbour. Bari airport is just 25 minutes away.

Nous avons vécu une expérience inoubliable à la Villa Nella à Sannicandro di Bari. L’appartement est spacieux et entouré d’un magnifique jardin. La superbe piscine, entourée par une terrasse avec ses chaises longues, idéale pour se détendre et se rafraîchir après une journée à découvrir les environs comme Matera, Minopoli, Bari, etc. Nous avons visité les marchés autour de la région ce qui a rendu notre voyage très authentique. Le village est accessible à pied et nous avons été très bien accueillis par les habitants, en découvrant d’excellents restaurants, bars et cafés. Le propriétaire de la Villa Nella est très arrangeant, serviable et accueillant.

Villa Nella was the most amazing experience, the house is a wonderful villa located 15 min drive to Bari. Best place to stay near Bari. The host Gianvito was extremely helpful and communication was excellent. The Villa is exactly as you see in the pictures. The pool is amazing also. We enjoyed our stay so much! Thank you Gianvito!!! Appartamento ampio, situato in un posto strategico per visitare i posti più caratteristici della Puglia. Molto silenzioso, immerso nel verde di un grande giardino. Parcheggio in loco comodissimo. Tolles Haus, großzügig geschnitten mit direktem Zugang zum Garten mit schönem großen Pool. Alles sehr sauber. Um das Haus ist ein großer Garten mit Orangenbäumen, Feigen, Pflaumen und, und, und den man nutzen kann. Gianvito ist ein sehr guter Gastgeber, stets erreichbar und hatte immer gute Tipps für Unternehmungen, Restaurants in der näheren Umgebung. Parken ist auf dem abgeschlossenen Grundstück möglich. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen.

Die Villa samt Pool und Park war sicher mal sehr schön. Aktuell eher in die Jahre gekommen und es sollte dringend investiert werden. Es ist alles da was im Inserat steht, die Ausstattung der Küche notdürftig und unvollständig für 6 Leute. Poolzeit war zwar vorüber es lag aber alles noch rum, teils kaputt daher nicht wirklich einladend. Wir haben uns trotzdem irgendwie wohl gefühlt- man muss den eher morbiden Charme mögen.
