Escape to the mountains in this cosy duplex apartment in the Résidence Grand Roc – Campanules! Full of alpine charm, the apartment sleeps 5 people in comfort and makes the ideal base for an exciting holiday with family or friends at any time of year. On the third floor (with lift), the apartment enjoys panoramic mountain views. The décor is an attractive combination of traditional wood and contemporary pieces. The open-plan living area is furnished with a sofa, armchair and flat-screen TV. A glass door leads to a private balcony where guests can soak up the beautiful landscape. Back indoors, next to the seating area, there is a dining table for 6 and a new, fitted kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker and induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and a Nespresso coffee machine for easy catering. Wooden stairs lead up to the bedrooms Sleeping Bedroom 1: The master bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a wardrobe and lovely views over the forest on the lower slopes. Bedroom 2: This 2nd bedroom is furnished with a bunk bed and a single bed. Bathroom The tiled bathroom is fitted with a bath with a shower, a washing machine and a washbasin. The WC is separate. The nearby slopes are ideal for intermediate and experienced skiers. Some of the higher slopes offer skiing later in the season, sometimes right up to early May. For younger skiers, the Panda Club ski school is just a 6-minute walk. All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep. During the summer months, the choice of activities is endless; stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, white water rafting, golf, rock climbing, paragliding and horse riding. The village is home to some excellent restaurants and bars to suit all budgets. For self-catering, Argentière’s weekly market is on Sunday mornings (in season) for the freshest local produce. Chamonix’s market, Place du Mont Blanc (12-minute drive), takes place every Saturday morning throughout the year. Geneva Airport is a 1-hour 20-minute drive from the apartment. There are regular rail services between Argentière and Chamonix on the Mont Blanc Express. Argentière station is a 6-minute walk. Due to the unique topography, location, and weather conditions in the Mont Blanc Valley, internet connectivity may be unreliable.
