This first-floor apartment for 4 is in an elegant, contemporary residence. It is the ideal base for friends or family looking for an exciting beach holiday, combined with excellent food and fascinating history. The owners have taken great care with the stylish decor and comfortable furnishings. The apartment has wooden floors throughout and attractive neutral textiles create a relaxing environment. The rooms open off a central hallway. In the living room, there is a large designer sofa and a Smart TV. Down the hallway is the spacious, airy kitchen. This room is furnished with a sofa, an elegant oak dining table and a newly fitted kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine and fridge. Going up to the second floor guests have access to the large terrace with a panoramic sea view. The roof terrace has sun loungers and comfortable seating where, on summer evenings, guests can watch a film with a video projection. There is also an outdoor dining area on the terrace for memorable meals al fresco. Sleeping Bedroom: This light-filled bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, a laptop-friendly workspace and a private balcony, which is ideal for morning coffee. Location The apartment is 10 minutes from the centre of Monopoli, one of Italy’s hidden gems. Known for its lively bars and nightlife, the town’s cathedral and the Castello di Carlo are also worth visiting. For self-catering Monopoli’s vibrant, weekly market (Tuesday and Saturday mornings from 7.30am) is the best place to pick up delicious local produce to cook at home. Alberobello, (25 minutes) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as one of the centres of Italy’s Slow Food Movement. The town is a must-see. It is famous for its traditional Trulli houses and excellent restaurants. All along this stretch of coast, visitors will find some of Italy’s most beautiful beaches. North of Monopoli is Polignano a Mare (15 minutes) which offers excellent snorkelling in its clear waters. For history lovers, the archaeological museum at Egnazi (9 minutes) offers a fascinating glimpse into Puglia’s complicated past. The closest airport is at Bari, a 50-minute drive from the apartment.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet appartement ! L’entrée et le départ se font en autonomie (boîte à clefs) mais nous avons pu communiquer avec notre hôte par messages et il a toujours été réactif pour répondre à nos demandes. L’appartement est spacieux et conforme à la description. La terrasse sur le toit est un vrai plus pour y passer d’agréables soirées ! Nous avons d’ailleurs pu profiter du vidéo projecteur mis à notre disposition pour regarder quelques films en famille sur cette terrasse à la tombée de la nuit. L’endroit est calme et assez central pour visiter les différents lieux immanquables des Pouilles ! Il dispose également d’un parking (point non négligeable en Italie !) Nous recommandons vivement cet appartement !

Het dakterras is ontzettend fijn om met elkaar te eten en te zitten. Alles wat je nodig hebt bevind zich in het appartement en het is ontzettend schoon! Top appartement! Ligging om dorpjes in Puglia te ontdekken met de auto is ook goed!

I love that terrace with fantastic sea view. Apartment is even more spacious, than I expected. Elegant design. Easy parking. Nice and friendly hosts. Good base to visit Monopoli, Polignano, Alberobello, Matera. You definitely need a car to have a good vacation there.
