The historic town of Salò is approximately a 10-minute drive away where guests can visit "MuSa - Museo di Salò" and the Renaissance-inspired Duomo di Santa Maria Annunziata Cathedral. Here, guests will also find numerous taxi boats and ferries to explore the lake. Other popular excursions include Padenghe sul Garda (a 25-minute drive), known for its prized extra-virgin olive oil and D.O.C wines, and Sirmione with its famous thermal baths (a 40-minute drive). For outdoor enthusiasts, Parco delle Colline Moreniche is a great destination for hiking, (a 35-minute drive) and Alto Garda Park (a 10-minute drive) offers beautiful lakefront hiking trails. Guests are also in easy reach of Bau Beach (a 15-minute drive) and Barbarano Beach (a 10-minute drive). Wir sind eine Familie mit 2 Kindern (11, 14). Die Anreisebeschreibung war hervorragend. Bis zum Schlüsselsafe und Eingangstüre haben wir alles sofort gefunden. Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage mit wunderbaren Ausblick auf Saló und dem Garadasee. In der Küche findet man grundsätzlich alles für kleine Gerichte. Die Betten waren für unseren Geschmack bequem. Das Bad war auch sehr schön. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermietungsfirma klappte über Whatsapp immer reibungslos und sehr schnell. Der Parkplatz ist über ein paar Treppen zu erreichen und nicht so weit weg. Man hört auf dem Tal zwar die Autos auf den Straßen trotzdem empfanden wir es als eine sehr ruhige Gegend. Die Nachbarn haben wir praktisch gar nicht gesehen bzw. Kaum mitbekommen. Das Wlan hat die ersten 2 Tage sehr schlecht bis gar nicht funktioniert, ging danach aber. Hab einen Speedtest gemacht und ca. 10Mbit gemessen. Also Netflix Streamen am Abend ist eher nicht so drinnen aber zum Internet rumsurfen und Musikhören (Apple Music, Spotify o.ä.) langt es vollkommen.

The apartment was lovely and the views of the lake were fantastic. There isn’t any air conditioning but when we asked about this, two electric fans were provided that really helped with the heat. The swimming pool was a great bonus, although they could do with some seating or shade around the pool and was a little strict with children. It seemed that it was a very quiet pool with a lot of rules. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. One thing which we feel should have been fixed was the awning over the seating area. This was broken and there was no shade in the garden at all. We should have been told about this and alternative shade such as umbrellas provided as you couldn’t sit in the garden during the day without being in direct sun. Also a lot of the plugs were loose and felt dangerous to use. Apart from this, the apartment was great.

Der Aufenthalt war grundsätzlich sehr schön und das Appartement hat uns gut gefallen. Leider gab es im Haus einige Schimmelflecken und manche Türen ließen sich nicht vollständig schließen, was uns hinsichtlich der Sicherheit etwas beunruhigt hat. Sehr unangenehm war die Situation am Pool: Statt uns freundlich auf die Badehaubenpflicht hinzuweisen, wurden wir von drei Bewohnern lautstark beschimpft und vom Poolbereich verwiesen. Da der Pool einer der Gründe für unsere Buchung war, war das sehr enttäuschend und wir haben ihn danach nicht mehr genutzt. Eine Badehaubenpflicht haben wir trotz vieler Urlaube am Gardasee und in Italien bisher noch nie erlebt. Auch die Reaktion von Chiara auf meine Nachricht empfanden wir eher als belustigt statt verständnisvoll. Trotz des schönen Appartements würden wir die Unterkunft aufgrund dieser Erfahrungen nicht erneut buchen.
