Pisa, with its famous Leaning Tower, is just 30 minutes away. The city has a daily (except Sunday) market, the Mercato delle Vettovaglie, in the Piazza Vettovaglie. Here you can pick-up delicious local produce. Pisa also has a flea market on the second weekend of the month in Piazza delle Cavaliere. The market is a treasure trove full of hidden gems. The stunning city of Luca is just 30 minutes away. Its massive Renaissance walls are not to be missed. You can hire a bicycle and ride around the ramparts. The central circular piazza is also worth a visit. It is one of Tuscany’s most beautiful destinations. The closest international airport is at Pisa, just 30 minutes from the apartment.
