The town’s iconic Cathedral and the Aragonese Castle of Otranto are both less than a 5-minute walk away, whilst the picturesque Otranto Marina is less than a 10-minute walk, where guests will find boat hire and tour companies as well as fresh seafood restaurants. The sandy beach of Spiaggia degli Scaloni is also within walking distance, with many more of Salento’s most beautiful beaches also within easy reach, including Baia dei Turchi and the Faraglioni di Sant’Andrea bathing rocks (both a 13-minute drive). Away from the coast, the famous Alimini lakes, a haven for bird watchers, are just a 15-minute drive from the resort. Here visitors can hire canoes or enjoy hiking, picnicking and swimming.
