Whether you're interested in birdwatching, swimming, or nature walks, the Alimini Lakes (Alimini Grande & Piccolo) provide a memorable experience for nature lovers with a unique blend of freshwater and saline environments. There are various car parks in the pine forests surrounding the lakes. The crystal-clear waters of Baia dei Turchi (Bay of Turks) and Alimini Beach (a 10-minute drive) are situated to the east of the lakes. To reach the beaches and the main lidos, you must cross the pine forest. Visitors can leave their car in one of the car parks on the coast road and catch one of the free trains or shuttles to the beach.
