For golfers, Golf Club Alpino di Stresa and Golf Des Iles Borromees are both a 13-minute drive. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the nearby Mottarone Mountain (a 35-minute drive) with panoramic views across the Lake. This is the perfect destination for hiking in the warmer months and skiing during winter. Stresa’s Mottarone-Alpino cable car (a 9-minute drive) also offers a fun, scenic 3-leg journey up the Mottarone. Lago di Varese, Lago di Monate and Lake Lugano are also within easy driving distance, as is downtown Milan (which is reachable by train within 50 minutes). Wij hebben een fantastische tijd gehad! Het appartement was brandschoon, volledig ingericht en het uitzicht over het Lago Maggiore was werkelijk adembenemend. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Het zwembad was heerlijk om even af te koelen en we hebben ook leuk contact gehad met zowel een aantal andere bewoners als met eigenaresse. Dankzij hen kregen we zelfs nog een geweldige tip voor een lokaal restaurant (Oriental Express -> echt een aanrader😊). Voor ons was dit verblijf echt genieten van begin tot eind!

We had a wonderful stay, enjoyed the apartment very much. It was comfortable for our family with young children, well equipped, and we enjoyed the panoramic view every day. The pool is lovely, and we only had to drive for 4 minutes to get to the lake beach. The welcome bottle prosecco was very kind!

We had an amazing stay at Francesca's place. The apartment is tastefully decorated, in perfect condition, and boasted incredible views of the lake. It is just a few minutes drive from Stresa, which suited us great as we prefered to be just out of the town to enjoy the peace. Highly recommend staying here, and would love to go back!
