The town is also home to many water-sport activities, including banana boat, speed boat and jet ski rides, as well as kayaking, snorkelling and diving. For history enthusiasts, the imposing Bugibba Battery is a 20-minute walk away, and both the ancient Megalithic Temples of Malta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the historic city of Mdina are a 20-minute drive away. Malta's typical Mediterranean climate is sunny with an average daily sunshine of five to six hours in mid-winter and 12 hours in summer, with over 300 days of sunshine and warm weather. Summers are hot, dry and very sunny. Its remarkably mild winters and intense blue skies make it an ideal place for long walks in the lush, green countryside. The property is in a prime location - the tip of the Qawra horn with an accessible vantage point from the flat rooftop overlooking the two bays encompassing the peninsula. In addition, it is near the main bus terminal of Bugibba which conveniently has a lot of routes to various locations on the island. The flat is spacious and has all one might need when it comes to amenities. The layout is very sensible too. However, it seems that the property isn't managed in a timely and prudent manner. Every time I complained about a defect, for instance, a leaking connection between the washing machine's hose and a valve feeding water to it, the property managers or owners showed little interest in having it fixed fast if at all and made promises they didn't keep. If this behaviour were improved, one could give an even higher score.
