Nestled in the village of Boncore, a 20-minute walk from the beach, the property is situated in Pino Residence, a small resort with a large pool, on-site restaurant and a bar. The apartment enjoys a shady balcony, which serves as an extension to the living space and offers a quiet space for a morning coffee or an evening aperitif. Inside, the open-plan dining room/kitchenette is equipped with: a dining table, a Mokka coffee machine, a cooker hob, an oven and a fridge-freezer. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The 1st bedroom features a private balcony and is furnished with a double bed and a wardrobe. Bedroom 2: The 2nd bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a sofa, a digital flat-screen HDTV, and a wardrobe. Bedroom 3: The 3rd bedroom is furnished with a double bed. Bathrooms Bathrooms 1 - 3: All 3 bathrooms are fitted with a bidet, a shower, a washbasin and a WC. Please note that the swimming pool is no longer open daily. It is now open only on Saturdays and Sundays, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Pool entrance is included, with rental options for sunbeds: €7 for half a day and €13 for a full day. An additional fee of €8 per day for utilities will be charged. Location The development is situated in Boncore, on the outskirts of Torre Lapillo. The local beach is just a 20-minute walk and is known for its soft sand and crystal-clear waters. The beach’s gentle slope makes it ideal for children. At 1.3km long, it is one of the most beautiful beaches in the region. The town itself has everything holidaymakers might need during their stay. Supermarkets, smaller food shops and a wide range of restaurants and pizzerias to suit all ages and budgets. The neighbouring resort of Porto Cesareo (a 7-minute drive) also has beautiful beaches and lively nightlife. The town’s weekly market (Thursday) is the best place to find the finest local food, including olive oil and a variety of cheeses. Further down the Ionian coast, the historic town of Gallipoli (a 35-minute drive) is a very popular tourist destination during the summer months. In Greek, Gallipoli means “beautiful city”, and the town does not disappoint. The town’s ancient walls soar over the harbour and fishing port. There is a daily fish market where, if you go early, you can pick up the freshest catch of the day. The closest international airport is at Brindisi, a 55-minute drive from the accommodation.
