Sestriere hosted the alpine events for the 2006 Winter Olympics and has excellent facilities for skiing and snowboarding, with well-maintained slopes and lifts. Guests will enjoy great access to the mountains. Summer visitors can go hiking through the forests and alpine meadows. There are numerous tracks for mountain biking at all levels, as well as tennis, golf and swimming. The area also hosts many festivals and events for all ages, including environmental initiatives and cultural evenings. There are many great restaurants and bars in Sestriere, which will suit all tastes and budgets in the area. For self-catering, Sestriere has supermarkets and smaller shops selling local specialities. Turin airport is a 1 hour and 50-minute drive from the apartment.

Lovely place, ideally situated next to the ski lift. Cosy, warm and clean. Modern and modest, has all you need for a holiday. Underground parking space was very helpful as there was a heavy snowfall every night. Special thanks for local team (Eduardo and Bruno) who were very helpful and responsive.
