The property is in the middle of the village, close to the small piazza and 2 restaurants. There is very little traffic, making it an ideal place for families with children. Grange Sises hosts many events throughout the year, from dances to concerts and group mountain bike rides. Sestriere, home of the 2006 Winter Olympics, has much to offer. In the winter months, the slopes around the resort suit skiers and snowboarders of all levels. Visitors can also enjoy cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, ice skating, motor sledging, dog sledging and snowshoeing. Summer visitors can go hiking through the forests and alpine meadows. There are numerous tracks for mountain biking at all levels, as well as tennis, golf and swimming. There are many great restaurants and bars in Grange Sises and Sestriere, which will suit all tastes and budgets. For self-catering, Sestriere has supermarkets and smaller shops selling local specialities. Turin airport is a 1-hour and 30-minute drive from the apartment.
