The apartment sleeps 5 people and makes the ideal base for an exciting holiday with family or friends at any time of year. The open-plan living area is full of light, thanks to the large windows and glass door, which leads onto the balcony. It is furnished with a sofa and a flat-screen TV. The dining table is next to the seating area, and a new, fitted kitchen is at the other end of the room. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and a Nespresso coffee machine for easy catering. There is a washing machine and a dishwasher in kitchen. The nearby slopes are ideal for intermediate and experienced skiers. Some of the higher slopes offer skiing later in the season, sometimes right up to early May. For younger skiers, the Panda Club ski school is just a 6-minute walk. All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep. During the summer months, the choice of activities is endless; stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, white water rafting, golf, rock climbing, paragliding and horse riding. The village is home to some excellent restaurants and bars to suit all budgets. For self-catering, Argentière’s weekly market is on Sunday mornings (in season) for the freshest local produce. Chamonix’s market, Place du Mont Blanc (13-minute drive), takes place every Saturday morning throughout the year. Geneva airport is a 1 hour 20 minute drive from the apartment. There are regular rail services between Argentière and Chamonix on the Mont Blanc Express. Argentière station is a 5-minute walk.
