Check out by 10.00am Location The apartment is ideally located to allow guests to explore the city on foot. The city’s “Centro Storico” is a 10-minute stroll. Here visitors can enjoy the elegant squares and palaces. The Palazzo Spinola National Gallery (13 minutes) is worth a visit. The glorious Romanesque San Lorenzo cathedral is a 16-minute walk and Piazza de Ferrari is just 14 minutes. Other museums and galleries are within easy walking distance. The exciting Porto Antico is a 17-minute walk. This lively area appeals to all ages and includes restaurants, shops, the modern Aquarium di Genova, the biosphere, an outdoor swimming pool and the Vascello Neptune, a replica of a 17th Century galleon. Genova is famous for its fine food and has many excellent restaurants to suit all budgets. To fully appreciate the city and its food, the best market is the Mercato Orientale in Via XX Settembre (20 minutes by public transport). Otherwise, there are street markets every day across most of the city. Guests will find bakeries, supermarkets, a newsagent, a butcher’s and bars all within a 5-minute walk of the apartment. Genova’s International Airport is a 25-minute drive from the apartment.
