Location The property is situated in the charming coastal town of Loano on the Ligurian Riviera in Northern Italy, known for its beautiful sandy beaches, historic centre and mild Mediterranean climate. The town is roughly halfway between Genoa and the border with France and grew up around its medieval castle (a 12-minute drive away). Today, it enjoys a relaxed but lively coastal atmosphere, with beaches, a promenade, and a marina (a 10-minute walk). From the marina, visitors can take boats on coastal cruises or snorkelling trips. The closest beach is just a 2-minute stroll away, and there are several beachfront restaurants within a few steps of the apartment. There are also a number of grocery stores less than a 5-minute walk away. One of Italy’s most beautiful villages, Borgio Verezzi, where guests can explore the Grotte di Borgio Verezzi (colourful caves), is just a 20-minute drive from the apartment. Further afield, guests can find the sandy beaches of Alassio, including Bagni Alfieri and Libera Beach (a 35-minute drive). Here, guests will also find Muretto di Alassio, a beautiful wall with signed ceramic tiles and the botanical garden, I Giardini di Villa della Pergola. The closest international airport, Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport, is approximately a 1-hour drive away, whilst Loano's train station is less than a 5-minute walk.
