Dominated by the impressive Fortezza del Priamar (an 8-minute drive), the city offers a blend of maritime history, elegant piazzas and relaxed coastal life. Guests can wander through the old town to see the beautiful Cappella Sistina, which was built for Pope Sixtus IV and the iconic Torre Leon Pancaldo, then enjoy fresh seafood along the old harbour 'Darsena' (all approximately an 8-minute drive). Spiaggia delle Fornaci, one of the most popular beaches in Savona, a long sandy stretch with both free areas and private beach clubs, is an 8-minute drive from the accommodation. The closest restaurants are close to the old harbour, and there is a supermarket a 4-minute drive away. There’s also a farmers’ market -Mercato Contadino - a 6-minute drive away that sells fruits, vegetables, honey, olive oil and seasonal produce (located on Via Guidobono 22/R).
