The L’Aiguille du Midi cable car station, which provides access to the summit close to Mont Blancis a 3-minute walk, and the ski shuttle buses to all skiing areas are also close by. Chamonix is well-known for the wide variety of both winter and summer activities. It is a centre for skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, sledging and ice skating. There is also an indoor swimming pool and a hammam, which is open all year round. In the summer, guests can enjoy hiking trails through the incredible mountain scenery, rock climbing, mountaineering, paragliding, white water rafting, a large outdoor pool and tennis. For even more excitement, visitors can head to the Accro Adventure Park (a 5-minute drive), where they can climb and zip-line through high trees.
