The closest restaurant is approximately a 5-minute walk away, and there are several supermarkets within a 10-minute walk from the accommodation. Places of interest nearby include the peaceful town of Melendugno (a 15-minute drive). Here, visitors will find some interesting churches, a 12th-century abbey, a small castle, and several excellent restaurants. The weekly market (Wednesday) is a source of the best local ingredients to cook at home. Further afield, guests can reach Lecce in approximately a 30-minute drive, named the “Florence of the South”, where visitors can explore the wonderful Baroque architecture, Roman ruins and enjoy the excellent food and shopping. Nature lovers can head to the WWF nature reserve at Le Cesine, an 8-minute drive from the villa.
