The villa, which has amazing panoramic views, is an ideal holiday option for friends or family who want to escape to the beach, as it is 30m from the sea. With plenty of outside seating, it is the perfect retreat. The two-storey villa is surrounded by well-planned, partly terraced areas, which encourage outdoor living to the max. Inside, there is an attractive open-plan living space, with a sofa, armchairs, flat-screen Smart TV, dining table and open stairs leading up to two bedrooms. The separate kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, microwave, dishwasher, Moka coffee maker and fridge/freezer. The outdoor space is beautifully designed. There is a large, shaded dining area where all the guests can enjoy meals al fresco. Close by, there is a sunbathing terrace with sun loungers where guests can relax, as well as a hammock and armchairs. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The ground-floor bedroom has a bunk bed and wardrobe. Bedroom 2: On the first floor, this airy bedroom has a double bed, with a wardrobe and lovely sea views. Bedroom 3: This second upstairs bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds, plus a wardrobe. Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed. Bathrooms There are 2 bathrooms on the property. One on the ground floor and one on the first floor. Both are appointed with a shower, basin, bidet and WC. Location The villa is in the village of Saline Sadum at the north end of the isthmus that leads to the promontory of Monte Argentario. Argentario’s unique landscape offers wonderful hiking and cycling routes with panoramic views. Porto Santo Stefano (20 minutes) is a popular resort. From here, you can catch a boat to the island of Giglio, which makes a great day trip. Porto Ercole (20 minutes) is thought to be one of the prettiest towns in Italy. Narrow lanes lead to its Medieval centre. Both towns have a wide range of excellent restaurants to suit all budgets. For birdwatchers, the Lagoon of Ortbetello is a WWF-protected nature reserve, famous for a variety of birds, including Pink Flamingos, and its protected marine environment. The charming town of Ortbetello (20 minutes) is a must. The town is surrounded by water on 3 sides and has Etruscan origins. It is most famous for the Spanish windmill. The weekly market (Saturday mornings) is a treasure-trove of fresh, local produce. The closest airport is Rome Fiumicino, a 1-hour 35-minute drive away.
