The property is located in the historic village of Xewkija, minutes away from the island's capital, Victoria, and many of the island's historical sites, beautiful beaches, and local restaurants. The apartment also offers easy access to Victoria (Rabat), making it a great base for exploring the island Positioned on the 3rd floor of a modern building, the apartment offers a pleasant and airy atmosphere and a balcony where guests can relax and enjoy the sun. The main air-conditioned living space opens onto the balcony and is furnished with a comfortable L-shaped sofa, a dining table and a Smart flat-screen digital TV. This space also incorporates a modern kitchen that's fitted with a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, an induction hob, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge freezer. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The ensuite air-conditioned 1st bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a wardrobe. Bedroom 2: The 2nd ensuite bedroom also features air conditioning and is furnished with a double bed and a wardrobe. Please note: There are renovation works in the public square in front of the apartment, which may cause some noise Location The property is located in Xewkija, the oldest village on the island of Gozo, situated between the ferry harbour of Mgarr (a 10-minute drive) and the island's capital, Victoria, a 4-minute drive. The village is best known for the magnificent Rotunda of Xewkija, whose enormous dome dominates the skyline (a 5-minute walk). There are several restaurants within a 5-minute walk, and there is a supermarket within a 2-minute walk. The rustic village of Ta' Sannat on the south coast is a 5-minute drive, well-known for the high Ta' Ċenċ Cliffs (a 7-minute drive). For beach lovers, Mgarr ix-Xini Bay is an 8-minute drive away and a popular spot for swimming, snorkelling and diving, and the Azure Window ruins in Dwejra Bay are approximately a 20-minute drive. Other popular excursions include the picturesque village of Munxar, which is a 6-minute drive away, and the UNESCO-listed prehistoric Ġgantija Temples, which are a 5-minute drive / 30-minute walk. Malta's typical Mediterranean climate is sunny with an average daily sunshine of five to six hours in mid-winter and 12 hours in summer, with over 300 days of sunshine and warm weather. Summers are hot, dry and very sunny. Its remarkably mild winters and intense blue skies make it an ideal place for long walks in the countryside. The closest international airport is Malta Airport, approximately a 1-hour and 15-minute drive from the accommodation.

Nous avons passé 6 nuits dans cet hébergement. Attention, la clim n'était pas incluse. Il y a un énorme batiment en construction devant. Cela engendre du bruit et beaucoup de poussière (il faut balayer tous les jours le sable qui entre). Impossible de profiter de la terrasse. Comme vous ne pouvez pas vraiment ouvrir les fenêtres à cause des travaux vous devez mettre la clim. Pour la cuisine : vraiment que le basic (4 couteaux, fourchettes, assiettes....) même pas un grand bol ou un saladier. A notre arrivée les lits étaient faits mais en soulevant les draps, on a remarqué qu'il n'y avait pas de drap housse mais un drap trop petit pour recouvrir tout le lit. On nous a déposé une pile de draps avec 1 seul drap housse pour 2 lit et d'autres draps donc beaucoup trop petits. Sinon les chambres et les salles de bain sont conformes aux photos. Le wifi fonctionne bien.

Nice and new appartment, convenient with third bathroom. It’s quite convenient across from the Gozo agricultural centre with a supermarket, a brewery, fish shop and a bakery. Although the appartment has everything what is needed, the cutlery is quite limited with exactly four plates each, 4 glasses and so on. This is something to get around, however we also missed a bowl for salad for example, a proper knife for bread and specifically some bowls for cereal or Joghurt.
