For the best and freshest local produce, a trip to the central market is very worthwhile. For shops, restaurants, pharmacies, banks etc the closest town is Porto Torres (35 minutes). There are ferry connections between Porto Torres, Corsica, France and Spain. Alghero airport is 30 minutes away.
