Behind the kitchen is a handy storage room and a door that provides access to the interior of the large, old stone farmhouse; this door also serves as the main entrance. In the dining room, you'll find a staircase leading to the upper floor, a windowed room with a bathtub, sink, and washing machine, and a small room next to it with a toilet and sink. The property includes three bedrooms, two with double beds and one with two bunk beds. One of the two double bedrooms has a balcony, while the other two have a window. If you'd like to rent an electric bike for a high-altitude ride, you'll find an e-bike service 50 meters from the house entrance. Casa Berta is about a 15-minute drive from Locarno. The Italian border is about a minute's drive away. A car is certainly useful, but not necessary, given the shuttle bus service available.
